Would love if this happened on either side of the pond. You’d have to go back to the Ranatunga-Fleming era (1998) for the last time these 2 sides played a 3-test series. Feels like there’s a mutual agreement at work!

I remember watching Santner on Test debut and getting a 70 vs India (in India?). How has his batting fallen off this much? Or were the initial scores just going against the grain of his actual FC batting trend?

He's had 3 or 4 reasonable innings but complete junk outside that. Bowling in test cricket is junk too.

I think if I decided to make a last minute over to Sri Lanka for the test, I wouldn't be able to do the country justice since I would basically be there for 3 days to see the cricket and not much else of the country. Maybe next time NZ tour Sri Lanka (if I'm still in Singapore). I'll just have to wait until I go home for Christmas to get my cricket fix, maybe see some super smash games or something
