Now for a real bet - what odds on Vaughan being around at the end of the summer?
Vaughan would retain the captaincy were England to lose 5-0 imosocial said:We've seen the odds on Ponting still being captain at Ashes end.

Agreed. Vaughan is a quality captain, however, his ODI batting is surely a major cause for concern. There's four pretty solid links in that England top 7 now in Strauss, Vaughan, Flintoff and Pietersen, Collingwood isn't too bad and he can bowl a bit and he's one of the better fielders going around, but Jones and Vaughan need looking at.superkingdave said:Vaughan would retain the captaincy were England to lose 5-0 imo

So, the best team changes on a week-to-week basis then? So, when Bangladesh beat Australia, they became the best team in the world, right? Unless of course Somerset count, in which case as mentioned the best team in the world is probably Scotland or Leistershire... but Leistershire lost to Australia on this tour already! My, it's a confusing little world you live in, isn't it?Scaly piscine said:You can't be the best team when you've just lost to England twice, Somerset and Bangladesh. When they get back to beating England (and Bangladesh) then perhaps they'll be back to being the best team in the world.
