What the odds that Micheal Vaughan will get his first hundred in this game, anyone think he has a chance
The way Aussies have been bowling recently, Goughie's got a chance. :p

He certainly wouldn't make the England ODI side were it not for the fact that he was captain, but he seems to do well against Australia. Always a possibility, I guess.

Was interested to hear Hussain refer to Hussey as (something like) a "young up and coming batsman" while he was batting. 30 isn't bad for young.

In the current Aussie side that young

*waits for barrage of jokes relating to the age of Australia's squad*

Vaughan off the mark with a drive which ended up going over point's head by a metre or two, safe enough though.

McGrath gets Strauss, it'll be interesting to see who comes in next - will it be Collingwood or KP?

Edit: It's Collingwood.

Colly I hope. Keep it ticking for a handful of overs and build a platfrom for a 6/7rpo charge off the last 12.

BIG wicket. It will be interesting to see England's approach now. They have been very positive thus far, and so they should be, given that they bat down to 8. Might slow things down a little bit though.

Collingwood - maybe a little bit of a statement there. Would have thought that KP would back himself to get out there early - chances are his been told otherwise. Just a little close to cut. Aus need another wicket while this ball is still hooping.

Well he provided some of the funniest batting escapades last summer and during the winter, I wouldn't be surprised if Harmison has some batting hilarity this summer.

Bat down to 8, slog down to 11. Is that OK? :p
Interesting that people say that Hogg isn't a batsmen but he averages 24 which is only slightly less then Solanki and Jones 26.

THE single most hilarious batsman EVER. His reverse sweeps, drives over deep square leg, slogs over cow corner, edges over the slips, always being out off a no-ball, and general lack of knowing-what-the-hell-he's-doing are pure cricketing (and comedy) gold.

What a legend. :D
