Hawkeye suggests Vaughan was a bit unlucky, but I thought it looked out at full speed, so can't blame the ump.
Yep. Benefit of the doubt is always less friendly when you don't play at it too.

There's also some room for doubt with regards to the Hawkeye representations; the first ball from Lee missed the off-stump by about 10 cm but Hawkeye showed the ball missing by about 1cm. Big difference for things like LBW's

And Tresco just given out; two for Kasper!

The way Kasper has bowled to Tresco and made him look VERY uncomfortable is exactly why Kasper should play in the Tests. He makes the English lefties look very vulnerable.

Wait until he gets the ball in his hands, mate!
England's last hope! :D

Seriously tho, if he bowls badly now it's looking bad for him. Kasper's stood up in a big way.

& Lee back into the attack, Ponting scenting blood.

Well bowled Brett Lee. Kept it tight for most of the over directed at middle stump and then put one out there and Pieterson couldn't resist. Good stuff.

KP undone by his huge favouring of the leg side, think that's his Ashes chances gone for a burton too.

Solanki for Giles, anyone?

Yes but then Giles won't be able to bowl. The substitution is for the rest of the match.
Needs must & all that. Plus we've at least 3 part time spinners in the team. None of them any good, mind...... :D

It's a balancing act - Solanki batting means that Collingwood has to bowl 10.
