For my money it's a very Australian decision to leave him in; to have omitted him would've shown we'd got to him. It's certainly the braver option, but if Tres/Fred/KP/Colly takes the long handle to him again it'll be v interesting to see if he's there come Tuesday.

Why Tuesday? It would be stupid to play them both in one game and them drop one. All four seamers should play through to the Tuesday game as well, and Kasper and Gillespie in the FC tour games. They need all the game time possible.

Decent-ish ball from Kasper, moved back into the left-hander a bit, but another very ordinary shot from Strauss. His form (or lack thereof) is our biggest concern.
