I'd have thought returning to India would mean being able to watch cricket on tv. I guess not! And to think only a month ago, I was vacationing in KL.. :@ Stupid Zee Network and mumbai cable operators.

Good comeback by India, led by Harbhajan and some good death bowling there.

disappointing end after a good start, but India bowled well.

Hopefully this rain doesn't last too long thus causing any changes via D/L to Australia's total, if Australia are to win i think the new-ball spells of McGrath/Clark will be crucial.

We are most probably watching the team that will come across the final of the next world cup in WI, India vs Australia.I firmly believe that these two are the top two teams of the world and are a class above the rests.

Don't see how India can lose now that the bowlers have done a great job.If India wins this match and beats Australia in comming matches too then they might get some psychological advantage that might help them in matching Australia in big matches.

8-) which is why our record vs. WI is 0-5 over the last 5 matches?

Impressive effort from the Indians today against the best in the business, albeit without a few regulars. A brief evaluation of today's bowling performances follows.

Ajit Agarkar - proved to be expensive but that was more due to excellent strokeplay from Jaques and Watson than wayward bowling; came back well in the death overs

Munaf Patel - very good bowling overall, he seems to have learnt the virtue of line and length quicker than the average Indian seamer; still tends to pitch a few short and get smacked but overall he's done well

RP Singh - bowled some rubbish short deliveries but was still impressive today; when he found the rythm, he stuck around the off-stump line and generated good bounce at 85 mph

Irfan Pathan - still disappointing but a definite improvement from the previous match; still hasn't found the consistent line and length that's made him a champion one-day bowler over the past year or so

Harbhajan Singh - restrictive and aggressive, he bowled beautifully today after taking some flak from CW posters; flighted the ball more and was helped by some sharp, sharp fielding

Virender Sehwag - a great complement for Bhajji today, he helped India get back in it with some accurate bowling; India should go in with four specialist bowlers in the next match and let Viru, Yuvi and Sachin (maybe Mongia too) get some overs under the belt
