8-) which is why our record vs. WI is 0-5 over the last 5 matches?
I don't see much into it, India lost 4 OD to windies after a record breaking sequence of victories in onedayers (i think it was a world record). In the last OD series they looked very tired.I think in this very competition you will soon see India beating Lara's men soon.

Tiredness simply isn't an excuse at this level....India were comprehensively outplayed in that series and the Windies deservedly won.

We are most probably watching the team that will come across the final of the next world cup in WI, India vs Australia.I firmly believe that these two are the top two teams of the world and are a class above the rests.
Australia yes when at full-strenght but there is no way India are a class above full-strenght South Africa, Pakistan or Sri Lanka.

Virender Sehwag - a great complement for Bhajji today, he helped India get back in it with some accurate bowling; India should go in with four specialist bowlers in the next match and let Viru, Yuvi and Sachin (maybe Mongia too) get some overs under the belt
That's an interesting suggestion. Maybe dropping Pathan for a match would be a good idea. Powar-Agarkar-Harbhajan-Patel or Agarkar-Harbhajan-Sreesanth-Patel with Mongia in the side could be an option worth considering.

Yes! I would go for Powar-Agarkar-Sreesanth-RPS with Mongia in the side perhaps, but I'd like Kaif to get some runs under his belt as well. Anyways, I'll get to that in detail when I do my preview for the India-West Indies encounter. ;)

Yea, we don't have a pace attack to match most other countries (based on current form) and it might well prove the crucial factor during the world cup.

There is no denying the fact that India were outplayed, they were outplayed as the players were burn out and simply didn't played good cricket.Had the players played upto their upmost potential, then the results would have been different, something that we might see in the comming matches of this series.

But India do have good spin options and I think spin is an underrated commodity in ODI's.

I'd like to see India play 2 out of 3 of Kumble, Bhajji and Powar in every game ---- these three have the best economy rates of Indian bolwers.

Well-played maiden Dravid, well-bowled maiden McGrath. Now, Sachin.

EDIT: I like the look of Johnson as well.

Guess they`ll see Harbs off, semi go after Sehwag and launch into the rest.

Everytime Sehwag bowls I think of SJS smiling, patting his dogs. :D
Thats pretty accurate picture except I cant watch the game. I AM sitting on the big sofa with one 'kid' on either side sighing blissfully as I stroke their tummies :) AND I am NOT smiling :@ .

I want Sachin to play another brilliant knock but then I dont want him to play it when I am not watching !!!

McGrath vs. Sachin... hell yes. Alongside Lara vs. Warne as the best contests in world cricket.

Love it how three different people address roughly the same issue within a space of 1 minute.

S*** Marto failed. But at least Clarky got runs, it's looking good for the Ashes! He has to be in. Yey, cricket season is nearly starting, oh how I've missed it.
