Interestingly, Bravo was utterly awful with the ball in the first three games he got, but from that one match in Kolkata, his bowling has improved significantly. He'll surely be missed now. A lot will hence depend on Nayar's bowling as well as Raje's batting- Nayar is a regular all-rounder for Mumbai while Raje is supposed to be a hard-hitting batsman (and he's surely a lot better than Musavir Khote, but Rajesh Pawar is still a lot better than both).how unlucky is Nehra .... 3 catches dropped off his bowling
and what a game, his last one, Bravo had .... 30 odd runs and 3 wkts .... he will be missed
MI has shaped up well .... the lower middle order got a decent hit today .... Tendulkar appears to be getting into the right gears. He looks to be one decent inning away from finding match-winning form
how abt giving Bosman, who is in decent form, a look in in the next game .... Jayasuriya, Bosman, Pollock and Nel as overseas players should be interesting
i think Pollock would be available for the next game and they will play either Nel or FernandoIdeally, however, we'd like to see a bowling attack of Pollock, Dilhara, Nehra, Nel and Rajesh Pawar. However, if Pollock's injury doesn't get better, we'll have to settle with Bosman as the fourth overseas player (no place for Prince?) and a lot will be needed with the ball from Abhishek Nayar.
That is if KKR make it to the semis. Right now their chances are pretty slim.IPL have offered to pay NZ Cricket $1 million dollars to release Brendon McCullum between the 2nd & 3rd test matches so he can play in the semi-finals.
Good Karma?Mumbai can't buy a game, Harbi gets banned for the rest of the tournament and they go on to win six on the trot, any connection?
I think they would pick only 2 overseas bowlers since Kulkarni, Raje, Sanath and Nayar are OK with the ball...I think the 4 overseas players are gonna be Sanath, (Bosman or Thornely), Pollock (if he is fit) and Dilhara (or Nel)...Pollock and Dilhara will bowl 8 overs...They've too many to bowl the other 12 overs...Nehra, Kulkarni, Raje, Sanath, Nayar, Thornely and even Sachin...A lot will hence depend on Nayar's bowling as well as Raje's batting- Nayar is a regular all-rounder for Mumbai while Raje is supposed to be a hard-hitting batsman (and he's surely a lot better than Musavir Khote, but Rajesh Pawar is still a lot better than both).

ret calling someone a dunderhead.....haha, B'lore getting thrashed, a familiar thing .... not surprising as many had predicted this before the start of the tourney by seeing the team
Mallya has the right to be upset. He should have backed his instinct rather than following some bad advise
I can't believe that someone like Boucher is sitting out for Kallis .... thats what you get by having a dunderhead like Dravid at the helm
do u even watch the games?any link where it says Boucher is injured? .... below is the probable line up in the preview on cricinfo
Bangalore Royal Challengers (probable): 1 J Arunkumar, 2 Virat Kohli, 3 Misbah-ul-Haq, 4 Rahul Dravid (capt), 5 Jacques Kallis, 6 Mark Boucher (wk), 7 Praveen Kumar, 8 B Akhil, 9 Zaheer Khan, 10 Anil Kumble, 11 Dale Steyn

or are you making the comment by assuming that I m suppose to wake up early to see a game involving B'lore and find out whats happening to them
His 10,000 ODI runs and the number of times he has bailed us out in that format means nothing to you too?????????????????I wouldn't classify Sehwag and Warne as 'test only' player .... isn't it quite clear that we are talking about players who are versatile enough to play all the 3 formats .... Dravid, along with Kallis, comes across as someone who is 'test only' player to me, while guys like Sehwag, Gambhir, Warne, Jayasuriya are more versatile and suitable to more formats
and that innings by Dravid means little when his side was totally out of the game
I wouldn't mind him doing this, won't happen thoIPL have offered to pay NZ Cricket $1 million dollars to release Brendon McCullum between the 2nd & 3rd test matches so he can play in the semi-finals.
tbh... I don't think it is fair on anyone's part to do that. I understand money is important but FFS, International Test cricket should be important too.I wouldn't mind him doing this, won't happen tho
