**Official** India v Pakistan

Afridi got the crucial wicket, they really did need to wrap it up asap after the lunch break.

Really, looked like Billy Bowden chugged some strong acid last night. What the hell was he thinking?

How about,

Resume his international cricketing career? He can spot the angle exactly in a bowler's arm, so he'd make a very good batsman. As Ravi Shastri says, he'd make over 50,000 runs with that eyesight.
He doesn't have to be able to detect exactly the angle in a bowler's arm in order to report him, he simply has to be suspicious that the delivery MIGHT have been over 15 degrees... basically he has to believe that it could have been chucked.

I'm no fan of the new tolerance rules, but you can't blame Broad for enforcing them as he has been instructed to.

Pakistan being pretty successful in getting quick runs here. Definately looking at a declaration tonight, if they can pile on enough runs. Anything about 350 on the last day should be plenty to defend, and 90 overs should give them at least a fighting chance of bowling them out.

Q: Is the pitch really playing that easy or our bowling is bad ?

With this rate it seems that pakistan will declare by TEA :)

Damn, Tendulkar's getting a lot of spin. If he can keep it on that leg-stump line a la warnie it'll get interesting.

Hameed's almost been bowled around his legs already. Good stuff

In other news, this(bringing Tendulkar on) is believed to be the first piece of imagination to come from the general direction of Ganguly in a long time...then again, he was standing next to Kumble.

I dont think the bowling has been bad per se, it's just the Afridi factor..Spinners will slow down the pace now..

Tendulkar can be a pretty decent bowler when the pitch is taking turn. I remember him bowling on the fourth day on a crumbling Adelaide wicket against Australia in the 2003 series and causing a heap of trouble.
