**Official** India v Pakistan

Target is 383 now. 99 overs to get them, so the required run rate is almost 4, which won't be easy. Anybody can win from here though, should be a good finish.

Younis into the 80s now. Hopefully he can make a century to go with his 270 odd in the first innings. This would have to put him right up there with the highest match totals ever... I think only Gooch, Lara and Hayden have managed more than 370 in a match.

edit: okay, apparently Taylor broke 400 as well when he made his 334 and 90 odd in the second innings.
Greg Chappell scored 233* and 147 (380) against NZ, and Andy Sandham scored 325 and 50 (375) v WI. :)

Pakistan look fairly safe with a 382-run lead now, I don't think anyone other than Sehwag is seriously going to challenge that total. Obviously will be difficult for Pakistan to get ten wickets on this pitch, but a wicket or two in the five overs or so tonight could change things, especially if Sehwag falls early.

OK, so India gonna loose this one..Sehwag has bad 2nd innings scores

How much will India make b4 they fold up
I think they might win actually. It's a pretty formiddable batting lineup, and Pakistan haven't managed to dismiss India for anything remotely cheap so far in the series. Still, if the pitch is taking turn and Kaneria can bowl well, anything is possible. Inzy will be looking for something special from Sami to get an early wicket or two, particularly Sehwag. After that, who knows?

I think ur post is a tease, they have to make history here to win
Maybe so, but teams have chased more than 383 before (perhaps not on this ground), and it is a strong batting lineup facing a fairly mediocre bowling attack. I'd love to see Pakistan square the series, but if I had to put money on any result it would be an Indian win. A draw is also a real possibility.

Don't think Pakistan will be able to bowl three overs in two minutes, as play can only be extended by half an hour. Chalk that up as a win to Ganguly (though the match referee may disagree)...

Sehwag looked to play slowly, he must know the importance of him being there tomorrow.
In his short interview yesterday, he mentioned that he should have stayed , also mentioned India lost in melbourne when he hit 195...so keeping that in mind, he would think of staying.

But, will the heart win or the mind?

The greatest injustice to the modern world...and that is that this series wasnt a 5 test series:(...has to b the best series i personally have ever experienced. its gonna b hard for both teams tomo...but i feel pakistan have the psychological edge...those last few overs were bowled with fire and vigour...if they can lay that on the table tomo and the CRACKS dear me kaneria may have a field day...afridi even...arshad looks tame...sami razzaq kaneria and afridi thats who the weight is on. although sehwag lasting till lunch would b day 5 session 1 to india and could swing the intiative to india again my prediction...if dravid and tendulkar r batting by lunch draw...dravid gone by lunch...pakistan win...sehwag still there by lunch india win...but then again its a cricket match therefore anything could happen at any time...good luck pakistan and good luck india...may we have many more of these awesome test matches...bring on the ODIs i say;)
