Dude, Pakistan is NOT in a winnable position at the moment. They need to WIN this game. To win this game they need to have enough runs on the board and time to RUN THROUGH an Indian line-up which contains some of the best batters on the planet, and that with a bowling line-up which has been termed the worst ever to grace the Indian soil. And what have they on the board right now? A paltry 270? Heck, this wouldn't even whet Sehwag's appetite. The way they are going right now, their is no chance in world they can increase the lead to 400 by day's end. And no one will feel safe with less than 400.

There is no attitude, no devotion. Batsman are making half-arsed attempts at playing stupid shorts and banking on their luck to get them some runs. Have you seen Yasir bat? How can you condone such an attitude. Such apathy, no care for team's concern.

I haven't felt this disgusted by the Pakistani team for a lonnnnnng time. Not since WC 99.

You are being too harsh on your boys. They have done fantastically well in this series so far, given their inexperience.

Not if their batting in this series is anything to go by. Even if they wobble, they are more then capable of playing out 90 overs. And remember, Pakistani bowlers will have to work the batsman out. They lack a strike bowler, one who can rip through the batting line-up in a matter of minutes. And working out batsmen takes time, more time when they are perfectly willing to stonewall. And when you pitch in possible fielding errors and umpiring decisions, the horizion starts looking pretty bleak. Unless the Indians make a lot of stupid mistakes I don't see how this can end up as anything but a draw.

Which is a crying shame.

I am not making a judgement on our boys. What I am trying to articulate is that they seem to lack the brains to judge the situation wisely and the balls to play solely for the team, disregarding their own precarious positions.


And I disagree that they have done fantastically well in this series. The only exceptional performance came from Khan in Calcutta and Razzaq and Akmal in Mohali.

khan strike rate is still 62, maybe they should try unsettling india while the two spinners are on, anything to speed up the scoring

They have stayed positive throughout the series and if their fielding had been better, they could have posed serious problems for the Indians.

Hameed is looking good. It's pity that PCB has decided to send him back. And seems like their decision came right after his failure in the first inning.

I don't know why people are so upset about the run rate... in this partnership it has been 3.6 an over. If they keep that up until stumps the lead will be 380, which is enough for an overnight declaration and creates the best chance for a Pakistani victory.
