Well he didn't take 6-40 if thats what you're getting at but you can still bowl well and not get wickets. He was miles ahead of any New Zealand bowler in that series.
Lol, you couldn't be more wrong if you're referring to SA's tour here in 2012, it was Mark Gillespie who was miles ahead of any other NZ bowler that series. He took 11 wickets in the last 2 tests @ 22, while Bracewell took 9 @ 38 in 3 tests.

You must remember uncle Zinzan checks such claims.

Sodhi shouldn't be sighing about anything there except how awful the delivery was. Long-hops like those deserve to go for 6.

Aus? They’re awful right now.
Haha funnily enough I thought his post was ekh for kind of the same but also kind of the opposite reason.

Not doing well against SA is fine because no Kiwis do anyway. It's basically irrelevant because it's almost an automatic loss, and replacing a meh Southee with a dire anyone else would not improve matters. Australia are kind of ripe for the picking though.

Not Terrible
Sodhi is a good t20 bowler but a bad odi bowler imo. He’s hard to smash for 12 in an over but can go 6-8 so easily. Not sure if we should take him to the World Cup.

Simon Doull calls it a tidy over because 3 came off it, while ignoring there were two long-hops that on another day would have cleared the ropes.

He's such an 'auto-pilot' commentator these days.

Gillespie got pumped, he picked up a 6fer with South Africa looking to delcare in one innings. What was his RPO that series? I watched that entire series, I know what i saw

You can't have seen that series if you didn't see Gillespie was a class above our other bowlers in every respect.

On Bracewell, you kind of proved my earlier point that Hobart was a bit of a fluke (perfect storm) if you're suggesting 9 wickets in 3 tests @ 38 was bowling as well as he did in picking up the 6-40 (and 10-fer).
