Yeah I agree Victor.

If Sachin, Yuvraj or Dravid fires, Dhoni is perfect down the order for late order hitting. However if he doesn't, as he has shown in the past, he has the ability to play sensibly whilst playing aggressively, and then he can absolutely launch near the end when his eye is in.

I was very surprised to see Rao ahead of Dhoni, and I do think it cost India some runs.

India's main problem was that they were unable to rotate the strike sufficiently from the 20th to the 40th over. Rao was a big culprit in this case but you can't really blame the poor guy - the bowlers were bowling to a set plan, the pitch wasn't asphalt and the earlier dismissals of Dravid and Pathan had sent India on the backfoot as far as running between the wickets was concerned. Add to that the pressure of playing in front of such a vocal crowd and no wonder Pakistani's were able to play the containing game with him.

His inexperience couldn't really be helped but the Indian think tank should have planned this out more carefully.

Yes I agree..Rao did very well. He should be considered in the squad for the West Indian tour. And what a great show they put on during the innings break don't you guys agree?

May be in a really serious game they will send Dhoni in earlier.

Rao looks like a very good test prospect. He seems like a grinder but hasn't quite learned how to rotate the strike fluently in ODIs yet, which Raina is very good at. Unfortunately for Rao, Raina will probably get the first stake at a test opening as well and deservedly so, but Rao should figure soon enough.

Great bowling performance from Pakistan. A bit surprised Rana Naved got 9 overs when he was conceding alot of runs and Mohammad Asif and Rao Iftikhar and even Abdul Razzaq got 8,7,6 overs respectivelly. I just hope now Pakistan dont lose early wickets and this should be quite an easy victory for us...quite surprised that India ended up with FOUR run outs...was the running really poor or was it good feilding? I also noticed that Pakistan bowled ZERO no balls in this innings..maybe Waqar Younis as our bowling coach is really paying off!!

cricinfo shows bhajji opening the attack? ah well, with that kind of total to defend, dravid has to try to be innovative....although if pakistan keep their cool, they should coast home in this match nevertheless...

Last 2 run outs were suicidal just to get as man runs as possible at the death. First 2 were very poor running by the sounds of it.

No Sreesanth is opening the bowling. Aparently the first ball, whilst a wide, barely bounced inches above the ground. Uneven bounce?

Another Wicket for the man I have said countless times is one of the best OD bowlers in the world right now...Sreesanth....6-2-16-1 so far
