Serves well for us to go to AbuDhabi and play an ODI series. I hope we lose the second one as well and Pakistan crushes us by 12 wickets.

I hear there are already talks for an ODI series in California in july this year. This tournament will be for the benefit of 1906 Earthquake victims of SanFransico.
I hope there is a series in United States..I'd be the first one at the stadium. But they have no real stadium where they could hold a large crowd expect in Florida, so where will the match be played? I mean there grounds for local cricket in Cali, but they have no stands.

India looked jaded out there. The run outs were absolutely criminal and Pathan was lumbering for every run and ball. He just didn't look match fit out there. All credit to Pak because they read the conditions better and adopted the right strategy while bowling (a lot of cutters, etc) and were reasonably sharp in the field, even though it was only the usual suspects. The dew might have helped while batting second. The team that wins the toss today will have to consider that. There is a very good chance that Pak can win this series 2-0, but to use these two matches to rubbish what India have been doing in ODIs recently would be the height of idiocy, really.

Yuvraj really should've been rested in the first match. Now Sehwag and Kaif need to return in this match. Really hope they don't drop Uthappa or Raina and probably not Rao either. I'd like to see Munaf get a match and although Agarkar did very well yesterday, either he or Harbhajan needs to sit for this match. Forget RP Singh, he's looked poor of late and he can have fun regaining some rhytm alongside VRV in the A-tour.

LOL thats a bit harsh.. So who would we drop in place of Kaif and Sehwag.. i think its Uthappa and Rao and as for as the bowling is concerened i think they will have the same attack.. No chance AA is going to get dropped after a good performance yesterday..

Well Sreesanth is our most talented bowler right now. Pathan just had the rare off day with the new ball yesterday, so hopefully he's back to his usual self today. AA does deserve another match, but aren't we better off getting Munaf some practice before the WI tour considering both of them are certain selections for that? Uthappa and Rao will get more practice soon so I guess benching them isn't such a sin actually. And Yuvraj won't be rested now, they blew the best opportunity yesterday.

Sehwag, Dravid, Kaif, Yuvraj, Raina, Dhoni, Pathan, Powar, Harbhajan, AA/Munaf, Sreesanth

I think Pakistan needs a taste of Munaf, they've been annoying us with pace for far too long. Time for revenge. :)

I'll say play an additional batter in place of a bowler since the pitches are bowling friendly.SO i'll retain Uthapa, and leave Ajit out from the team.

This match should be an eye opener for those saying that Younis Khan is USELESS in OD matches.I can see Younis batting at one down position for Pakistan for a considerable amount of time and i think he will do a satisfactory job.

But he scored runs against India that is mandatory for Younis Khan, much the same as Sehwag scoring runs against Pakistan, it's compulsory.

Username does tell something, and no it doesn't have anything to do with price of milk, it has to do with price of sildenafil which is keeping you out of industry!

No that isn't the case with Younis Khan in Onedayers, got get mixed up between the two formats of the game.Younis has a fantastic record in test matches against India but haven't done much in ODI against India and other teams primarily coz he has NOT been utilized properly by Inzi (was made to bat at 6 and 7 slot where he wasn't able to do much), which made some ppl say that he's useless in Onedayer. Fact is that Younis is the ideal player for one down spot, something which Inzi has finally realised .

Not really because according Cricinfo.com Younis Khan "In 29 previous matches in that pivotal slot, had averaged a dismal 22.75". , hardly an ‘ideal’ player for that spot though I do agree that if Khan plays the only place for him is at three.

Well if you do agree then what the point of mentioning that stats???

Khan's average at other slot has been poor too, if he is made a permanent number three player then his performance will get better, this is exactly what happened in test matches with Khan too!

Well if your read my post correctly I said that if Khan has to play, meaning he does not have but if he did the position he could only realistically play in because of the number four and five slots been pretty much set in stone is number three.

When was the last time Younis was made to sit out?? Khan is an integral part of the OD team, whether you like it or not thats a fact, so your remark that "if he has to play and doesn't have to" doesn't make much sense considering that beside Younis there are just two recognized middle order batsmen in Pakistan team, and no team can play with just two specialist middle order batsmen.

Inzi on numerous occasion (for some wierd reason) has batted at six position, and there is no guarantee that he won't do it again, so again there might be occasion when Inzi might ask Younis to bat at number five and might send Akmal or Afridi at one down slot, but that way Younis will again be wasted.

Give it a break guys, who gives a damn about Younis Khan? We all know that he's been a borderline selection for this one-day side so far, but if he does play, and we know he should and will, he has to play at #3 with Shoaib Malik opening.
