Kaif and Sehwag rested again to take a break I suppose. Hopefully this works.

Ya, Utthapa opening with Dravid with Yuvraj, Raina, Rao, DHoni and Pathan to follow. Powar comes in instead of Harbhajan. And guess WHO else is there? No, I wont give you twenty guesses.

Asif is brilliant. Hopefully India just see him off for a while, at least his first 3-5 overs.

that's ridiculous, they didn't need another runout now.. grrr :@
Am I watching Pakistan bat or India?? We're the ones usually known for ridiculous runouts!

Pretty damn poor stuff. 2 run outs is ridiculous.

Let's see what Rao's got, we know what Raina can do, now is the perfect chance for Rao to show he can push for selection as well.

How's the pitch playing to anyone watching?

Yeah I know but I just got back from work and I have told myself I'll do some of my assignment tonight and sacrifice watching the 1st innings of the cricket at the least, since I've been damn slack in terms of uni work these Easter holidays.

Is it me or is the fact that the name "MS Dhoni" is still to come in the batting order always results in a sense of 'hope' for an Indian fan? It doesn't reach the levels of "Well Sachin's still there so we can win" or "With Sachin, that's chaseable" eg. WC Final 2003, but damn it Dhoni is getting closer and closer to that status everytime he belts a terrific ODI knock.

I've been following the coverage on crickbuzz. It's funny how every out is followed by user's comments of "matchfixing". I guess the stigma of matchfixing is going to be hard to erase from U.A.E.

I honestly wish Cricbuzz would disable cricchat. Its a nice option but is abused so much that the sheer level of incompetence seen in those messages should see it shut down.

I exactly know the feeling, i haven't touched my books either.. and i have few lab reports and stuff to do.. ah well.. cricket first for me tho.. :)

anyway looks like a hard battle now.. almost 2 maiden overs being played..

Edit: a single was taken.

There is nothing wrong whatsoever with the pitch, unless you expect it to be as flat as a pancake. Pakistani bowlers have bowled a fine line and length and it hasn't been easier to score off them. Obviously, idiotic running from Pathan hasn't helped either.
