In this day and age of vision and mission, have the Indians taken a step backwards? They have Agarkar opening the bowling again, while Sreesanth, who has the pace and also a good outswinger, and is very aggressive, will be coming on first-change!
Agarkar has proven himself to be quite good in the first two matches. No reason for him not to continue. Sreesanth has all that you say, and could have been sent as well. Should have, in fact, in my opinion. But the decision is not as bad as you make it out to be.

Yeah, they shouldn't regularly go with 4 bowlers but they should at least try out the part-timers.
Actually, I meant it the other way. 6-5 to be the more used combination and 5-5 tried out when required or seems a better choice. But, its ok the way you say it too.

Why not? It's the West Indies, not Zimbabwe or Bangladesh or Kenya. It's outside India, Pakistan and SL.
Look, its one ODI in a 5 match series which, in the end if they lose it its not the end of the world. They can win the next couple and take the series. Its different to losing a test match which results in a drawn/lost series.

Its got nothing to do with the opposition. Though considering its in the WI winning it would be a positive for the WC ahead.

Really? Then they should be trying out different things out of the box in this series. Instead, we see a relatively full-strength Indian team faltering. There seems a weak link opening the batting, a weak link (or two) in the middle-order, a weak link opening the bowling and maybe behind the stumps, so how do you expect them to win two matches in a row?

You've won 19 of last 26?

That ain't faltering in my book, try being an England fan. :p

England have had injury worries and the replacements are not up to task, or we see baffling picks. Here, a full-strength Indian side has struggled. We have yet to see them win a series outside the subcontinent.

Yes, a full-strength side without Sachin and Yuvraj.

Precisely. If we were lacking any one of them, I would still call it a full strength side, since Kaif is still quite a regular in the side. Rao is not. Yet, that's no excuse for today's slog overs fiasco.

If you keep calling Dravid a weak link, you will keep digging yourself into a hole.

Just stop it. The man is averaging 50+ as captain and scored a 99 ball century in the first ODI. Why didn't you say anything then?

Dravid as a batsman is great but as an opening batsmen well I am not so sure especially when there isn't much experience in middle order. We must not forget that Guys like Raina and Dhoni are still very young.

You know I was kidding when I called Dravid the 'weak link' in Indian batting, right?

india in danger of losing another 'streak' here...after starting to win all those one dayers, i don't think they have lost two in a row, if the west indians win this, they would be losing two in a row after a long time....
