Pathan bowled a very good 49th over. I dont think I can complain. Bravo Out !!!

Balle Balle !!!

So As I was saying, Dravid screwed up the bowling in this match. Pathan was the experienced one, he should have bowled 48th and 50 over.

:( :( :( BOM Venugopal Rao - you can guess what that stands for :@
I hope that trash never plays one-day cricket for India again.
Oh yeah, Dhoni owes India big-time after failing in the first 3 matches. Match-winning century in the next match or I'll call him an overseas bust.

Now we can await the announcement of the test squad later today.
Looking forward to the remaining ODIs; West Indies have been impressive, but India better stop throwing away matches.

India didn't throw away the match (if anything if threatened to happen the other way around) - WI just played better cricket overall.

On a lighter note, seeing how the Indians batted, would you have a lower order of Irfan, Yadav, Bangar, Powar and Joginder in the next match?
Bearing in mind that then gives a bowling attack of Pathan, Yadav, Bangar, Powar and Joginder, I bet the Windies would love that.

I mean, last long enough to bowl ten overs of off-spin, given the success Gayle and Samuels have had.
Gayle and Samuels bowl fairly regularly over all games.

Raina averages about 11 balls per List A game.

Stop trying to make bowlers out of batsmen and batsmen out of bowlers.

Really? Then they should be trying out different things out of the box in this series. Instead, we see a relatively full-strength Indian team faltering. There seems a weak link opening the batting, a weak link (or two) in the middle-order, a weak link opening the bowling and maybe behind the stumps, so how do you expect them to win two matches in a row?
Pathan's suddenly a weak link because of 2 or 3 bad games? 8-)

Imagine that. Agarkar has been the most effective and consistant bowler this series.....
Him and Harbhajan: 58-6-193-9, average of 21.44, eco of 3.33

The rest: 86.5-6-482-10, average of 48.20, eco of 5.55

I think we can see the weak link there - 30 overs per game.

Nice to see you're not a stereotypical Indian fan. 8-)

Well-said. My respect for Samuels' bowling is swiftly growing, but Gayle has been well above average for a long time now.

Dwayne Bravo's bowling continues to impress, and much to his credit, he sacrificed his wicket to keep Sarwan in the chase. Ramnaresh Sarwan... what can I say really...

One of the finest innings I've seen in any form of cricket. Sarwan looked totally at ease for almost his entire innings and I have no doubt that that was the best knock he has played at international level. Given the situation of the match, given the situation of the series, given the situation in the final over (!)...just wow.

That one innings today convinced me that Sarwan is prepared to be the next captain of the West Indies team. I won't say he has come of age as yet, but he certainly proved why he's so highly regarded at 26 years of age.

well...i thought they will at least win the one dayers convincingly if not the tests.... now that they've found out that the windies are not just gonna roll over and die, let's see what these youngsters in the indian team are made of....by the way good innings from sehwag....is this the start of a good run from him or is this another come-alive-once-in-20-innings?
