Surprised nobody's noticed that SA are clattering along at over 4 rpo. We're usually grass growingly slow when we get in a dominant position.
That tells me the bowling is absolute tripe and that scoring at less than 4RPO would be a travesty... but I'm not actually watching so I don't know.

He's obviously worked on the other parts of his game (or he really would be Dilhara) but they're still not in the same league as someone like, for example, Praveen Kumar, who can't even get a game at Test level in what's a pretty cack bowling attack. He doesn't rely purely on athleticism and natural attributes anymore but they are still the two most important things about his bowling.
Heh, I'm sorry. I must be misunderstanding, this being a Friday afternoon and all that, I completely understand

because that's 100% accurate, however taken in context with the rest of the words, the comment seems to imply that the uncapped Kumar (an ODI specialist who doesn't even have better stats than Morkel in that format) is actually a league *above* 100+ test wicket taker Morne Morkel, rather than the far less nonsensical reality that he is probably a league or 2 below Morkel.

Oh FFS Harbhajan.

This is brutal to watch now. Wish sometimes I was a more fairweather fan and could just turn this off and watch some 70s porn or something.

May just split screen and do both.

Haha I'm obviously not suggesting Praveen is a better bowler than Morkel - Morkel is one of the best bowlers in the world. I was just saying that the factors of his bowling excluding his natural attributes and his athleticism aren't in the same league. Specialist technical bowling skills. Obviously they aren't the only important things though - hence Morkel's vast superiority.

Raina was fair enough.. I even understood Tendulkar to an extent.. but when he brought on Unadkat I knew he'd lost the plot.
On a serious note, there is a distinct lack of outrage over that selection - it is one of the biggest joke selections that I've ever seen. He didn't even do well at the start of this year's Ranji season, he is literally living off his debut match. Further takes the pressure off Sreesanth who has done **** all for India in Test cricket since the last tour of SA. People like Praveen, RVK, Dhawal, Munaf and Balaji (even Pankaj Singh) must be scratching their heads to ask why they deserve such shoddy treatment in the face of good FC performances.
