Following two gorgeous cover drives, Ganguly is rattled on the helmet by a Hayward bouncer. Medical staff to his aid. :(

Was only a matter of time, the guy was getting bounced out by medium pacers in England so **** knows how he was going to deal with Mornantau. Hope his ok though, seems like he, is continuing his innings. :)

Ganguly replies with a couple of fours and then Hayward retorts with "another bouncer, Ganguly ducks under it and Hayward's got a little story to tell Ganguly, he does not reply though". LOL.

Will Ganguly get a recall to the test team?
Well his scored nearly half the runs and is still there. If he tons up be pretty hard to ignore him considering he would be the only inform batsman in the Indian side.

And he was just dropped at gully. Morkel would have had his fifer.

Well played Dada! Classy knock under pressure there from Ganguly ... let's just hope he inspires the rest to make some big runs for India.

Yep. Morkel may have bowled a gem to Sehwag but these "world-class" batsmen should not be getting out like this in warm-up matches.

Not quite a domestic side. This side has some top South African prospects - that includes some with national experience and one who Donald rates as the next Saffie pace hope.
It's still not a full strength, where India is. We are so getting owned in the test series.

I'd love to know what G Chappell's thinkng now? Ganguly hasto play in the Tests now -even if he is riding his luck - and why do they pick Jaffer? He was out of his depth in England in 2002 and surely Gambir couldn't do worse? Meanwhile durprised to see Paul Adams in the Rest of SA team - I thought he'd gone forever! Is his action still the same?

Not necessarily so...although they're a different side and all that, here's what happened in England's tour matches on their last trip to South Africa and they ended up doing well.

I hope a) the players don't have that attitude b) you don't play competitive cricket c) you don't expect to get very far in competitive cricket with that attitude. :)

Uh, Jaffer scored a double century this year.

It was just a joke dude, I know it's probably a one day thing. I have watched enough and know enough about Cricket to say that 1 bad inning in a 4 day match doesnt mean the whole longer version of the tour will go bad.

That will never happen, cause even though I think the Indian pace attack is weak, I don't think it's as weak as SS says.
