Rest of South Africa have won the toss and elected to bowl. Should be interesting to see if Hayward, Morkel and co. can trouble the out-of-form Indian top order.
Isn't it obvious they will?

Is this the likely Test top order (minus Dravid) ?
Pretty much. If Jaffer fails a second time in the warm-up, we may see Gambhir replace him. Definitely should be Dravid-Tendulkar-Laxman-Ganguly after the openers.

Has VVS ever captained India? If so that would mean from Sehwag down to Ganguly everyone of them has lead team India.

He hasn't captained the national side before, but he's renowned as one of the most intelligent captains in India. He's captained Hyderabad, India A and South Zone IIRC.

How close is Morne Morkel to national selection? His first-class record is nothing to rave about but Donald and others have heaped high praise upon him already.
6'4" and raw pace does sound pretty good tbh. Does he have injury or accuracy issues?

Haha this is a joke.
Yep. Morkel may have bowled a gem to Sehwag but these "world-class" batsmen should not be getting out like this in warm-up matches.

We get owned by domestic sides too.
Not quite a domestic side. This side has some top South African prospects - that includes some with national experience and one who Donald rates as the next Saffie pace hope.

AD said he should be in the test side now but with Andre Nel back in some sort of form be hard for Morkel to get a sniff, South Africa are not going to play six seamers. Dale Steyn was injured a week ago however and I don't know how he is progressing.

Pollock, Ntini, Nel, Langeveldt, Steyn, Morkel. Is there anyone else who belongs in the top six. Is Zondeki close?

Kruger has more chance than Zondeki also Hayward seems to have found some favour again. According to Goughy this guy currently bowling de Wet is meant to be pretty lively also.
