Disgusting, i've lost all respect for Akhter .

India re comfortably placed at 112 for one. Even the Indian teenage keeper is playing the so called mighty Pak paces with ease.

Pak team is not even competitive, their batters and bowlers (san Inzi & Gul) seems pretty much club level players to me.


What's the bet on India posting 550+ in first innings?

I think India will score 600 runs in fist innings, with Patel getting a ton and someone else getting a ton too.

Pakistan will probably make around 150-175 in their second innings and will lose this match in total humiliation.

Inzi will get axe as a captain, and Miandad will be thrown out.All in all it will be black day for Pak cricket!

There's not a lot of lateral movement, but there is some if the bowler is prepared to bend his back. The scoring has been relatively quick after lunch, but some of the Pakistani seam bowling has been pretty woeful at times (i.e. the Indian batsmen have scored off the balls they could reach). McDravid is having as many lives as Flintoff at the moment - not just the drop at cover but a couple of really streaky edges through the slips, the one onto his boot which was inconclusive (no ultra-vision in this game).

Shoaib Akhtar is scary as hell. His balls get quicker and quicker as the over and his spell goes on. The last ball before tea was 96 mph. That is insane. He is regularly bowling at 95 mph. I feel bad for the batsmen.

Also, let me reiterate my desire to see Tendulkar dropped in the lineup. 6 is looking a good spot for him.

Well played Laxman, Dravid, India in the drivers seat, however, things look nicely balanced with Pakistan getting Laxman out.

If Ganguly and Yuvraj fall cheaply, Pakistan will be right back into it.

Parthiv played quite well for his 69.

However I hope India do not pursue the idea of him as a regular opener.
It hopefully should be Sehwag and Chopra again who walk out to face the Aussies in the
first test of next season.

They need to stay focussed tomorrow though.
Pakistan need something special from Shoaib from tomorrow morning -- he's looked by far the most penetrative of their bowlers -- otherwise India are going to run away with this game.
