V Sehwag (RHB) 129 135 16 5 95.56 Non-striker

Sehwag's gonna rip his test shirt off to reveal a ODI shirt underneath. :D To think people compared him to Afridi.

On another note, is it physically impossible for Chopra to get past the 40s? Poor guy :(

Chopra is to deffensive.

He face's so many dot balls that eventualy he is going to get out and at the speed he scores at the chances are he will only have 30-40 runs on the board.

He is great for seeing off the new ball but once he does this he needs to step it up a little.

reminds me of a guy named ss das. for chopra to stay in the side hes gonna hafta do this consistently because if he does end up having one bad series as das did he will be dropped without any hesitation

Yeah thats the problem no one can consistantly face 120-140 balls every inning and thats what he would have to do to avrage a mere 40.

He has to learn how to cash in on starts and he will need to be more positive to do that.

Just look at Shewag he has a fairly poor techneque in deffense he plays to side on especialy when deffending off the backfoot but he takes every opertunity he can to score runs so he get's away with it.

228-2 - funnily enough, Tendulkar's strike rate at the moment is about the same as Chopra's.

Mind you, when the guy at t'other end has blasted 155*, he can afford to take his time.

Although I agree Chopra is a bit too defensive, he doesn't exactly need to do much when Sehwag almost always has a strike rate of over 80. John Wright seems to greatly value the Chopra/Sehwag partnership and stated it had a lot to do with the success of India's middle order on tour. So I can see Chopra sticking around for a while, especially since Sehwag and him work so well together.

Sehwag's just reined himself in during the last 6 or 7 overs.

Doesn't want to catch Michael Vaughan's habit of getting out in the 190's

Mind you, Vaughan's cured himself of that affliction recently

199! Come on Sehwag! He's learnt from his mistake in Melbourne's Boxing Day Test last year.

Now the highest score by an Indian against Pakistan, going past Manjrekar's 219.

Just Bob's 281 to go now
