The curators have revomed the grass of the Multan pitch!!! So Inzi's claim that they will play according to their team's strength (i.e Fast bowling) turn out to be bogus! ( remember Captain and Coach have the authority to either leave the grass on the pitch or remove it before the start of test match)


Its clear that Pak batsmen are afraid of Indian pacers, maybe they are just trying to get pitches which will get a drawn result.

He will be well supported by Sami and Shabir in his god killing activities. Besides I seriously doubt the godhood you have bestowed on Chopra,VVS Laxman, Yuvraj, Sehwag and Ganguli.

I would'nt say he has failed. He has not bowled too badly given the conditions and took 9 wickets in five matches.


There isn't much to choose from Pak bowling lineup.Sami and Shabbir aren't worth mentioning .

What!! You do'nt think they are worth mentioning? compared with whom? Zaheer, Balaji,Irfan,Nehra, Ajit?

India desperately need a top quality all rounder, otherwise theyll always have a four man tail, I suppose you could argue that their batting up top is so good that they dont need one but what about when the top six fail

I disagree. Maybe they need one in ODIS (Bringing Powar in for the inconsistent Kaif is prolly the way to go) . But not in tests.
What they really need in tests is four bowlers who can bowl a consistent line and length.

In Anil Kumble they have one. They need to develop three others...

Chopra and Sehwag are playing nicely and Saqlain has just been introduced. Let's watch out for his supposed 'Tesra'.

this is good start by india. sehwag is going hard out as he usually does and this is 3rd consecutive 1st innings century partnership by the two.

It was a baffling decision by the 2 captains to include 3 seamers and only 1 spinner in their line-ups.The pitch is totally dry and devoid of grass. India should have gone in with karthik . I don't think Balaji would trouble anybody on this wicket.

this is some of the most ridiculous bowling ive ever seen. the pak bowlers keep feeding sehwag outside the off stump and he just keeps smashing them out of the park. i say bounce him out!!!ive never seen him play a hook or pull shot in my life! its amazing how he just stands in his crease and smashes everything without ever getting an edge that goes to the fielders
