Mohanty was really good, I really used to like his bowling a lot. He's got a good ODI record for India, he's certainly better than Nehra and an unfit Zaheer.

He gets so much swing even in nonswinging conditions its not funny.

Plus he took a 10 wicket haul against a pretty strong Domestic side in India back in 2002.

He should be atleast in the touring party in my opinion.

Not that any of IND bowlers have been much effective, but to win IND has best chances with 4 seamers (Khan, Pathan,Balaji, Bhandari) and use (yuvraj, shewag, sachin, ganguly) as the 5th or combo of 5th. Spinners have been least effective for IND.

Yeah Vishnu,

My Bachelor of Engineering Degree is 'common' in the first year. Im a first year student, so Im studying everything this year:

Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Maths, Computer Engineering, Materials Engineering etc.

But hopefully in 2nd Year, I can specialise in Chemical Engineering, although it depends on the marks I get.

I find Chemical Engineering to be the most interesting out of all of them. Im finding Electrical to be the most boring!

So, yeah Ive got 4 years of this Bachelor's degree to go, then hopefully 2 years of MBA or something like that.
Best of luck mate

Well i've got all my options open . I'm going to do 3 yrs of Bachelor in Commerce for sure and along with it i am going to attempt for Charted Accountancy too but the problem is in CA only 100 can get through out of around 100,000 . I don't think i am that good. Same is the case with admission in IIM's but nothing wrong in trying. With doing MBA alone you don't have good job oppurtunities in India unless you do that from a prestigious institute. If things don't go according to plan then after doing B.com , i may take a big turn and do Masters in Computer Applications and along with it a 3 yr GNIIT Comp Course from NIIT . I may even come to Aus to do Masters if i am still in the administration side. Things weren't looking good for Engineers in India a couple of years back but the outsourcing has come as a boon for all these graduates. There are still quite a few unemployed graduates but the scene has improved now. This is the problem if high population is coupled with education being a compulsory thing in society. Have to see where the life takes me :P

I never said so! In fact, I don't mind paying a little more for Ten, at least the sound is better and instead of that Fourth Umpire nonsense, they have a good analysis session.
Erm... don't you have cable TV? If you have Cable Tv then you should be getting Ten Sports . Atleast i have been able to watch both DD and Ten Sports since the first onedayer. Eagerly awaiting Direct To Home to come to my city . I heard that you can watch channels like Fox Sports , Supersport and other foreign country sports channels too through that and it is not that costly too priced around Rs 400 which is 150-200 more than Cable TV.

Well the series has claimed three suicides in India already . Those people must have had a trouble free life so far that they can't even digest India losing in a game. Oh Well This is what makes the world interesting place to live in :alien8:
A bloke in Pakistan shot his TV and then himself when Pakistan lost to India in the '96 WC.

Is he still playing and what is his age?

India need to bat first in the fourth oneday match and they should post a total of atleast 300.Zaheer Khan should be given one last chance and if he fails then he should be send by home.

I believe Pathan should open the bowling with Balaji as they are the most impressive bowlers in Indian lineup right now.

Indian bowlers should target Hameed,Inzi and Youhanna, if they can get them out cheaply, then Pak would struggle to get to a decent score.

Best of Luck Vishnu,

Yeah Id encourage you to come to Australia, especially Melbourne for higher education in the Commerce/Business field.

Melbourne University and Monash University (the University I go to), are the two most prestigious in Australia for Commerce and Business.

Doing an M.Com from Monash or Melbourne would give you HUGE status and a HUGE kick start.

The Year 12 entry score for Monash in Engineering and Commerce was VERY HIGH due to it being such an excellent university.

After my B.Engineering from Monash, I plan on doing the MBA from Monash University as well, since the MBA program at Monash is Internationally Recognised all over the world, unlike many Indian MBA Institutes.

Yeah, as I was saying after your B.Commerce, I strongly encourage you to come to Australia and maybe even apply for Perminent Residency.

Its a great country, with great people and a HUGE scope for Commerce/Accounting and Business. Also Im sure you'd love it if you came here.

To find out more about the University I go to:

Monash University:

Debashish Mohanty still plays for India Club Side, Orissa as their leading fast bowler.

He took 10/46 in the 2002 domestic season.

He's 27 years old, and has 57 ODI wickets at an average of 29 at a SR of 35.

Pretty good stats for an Indian fast bowler

Mohanty had good swing , he should have established in Indian team really, particularly when Indian team then didn't had many decent pacers.

But now i think Mohanty can't make it to the team, with pacer like Bhandari,Munaf and Salvi knocking on the door, there won't be a place for Mohanty in the team.

Mohanty plays for the 'state' side Orissa and not club side Orissa dude. He even played for east zone in the Duleep Trophy again this year but some how manages to miss the look-in into the Indian team

The game started, traditionally, with a wide.
Pathan gets Pathan again.
If Inzi won the toss, then he should have bowled first, so wrong decision IMO.

YES! Pathan has Afridi again. WHOOO! One thing about Pathan, he may go for a few runs but he pretty much always gets wickets. Come on Pathan keep it up.

He's been in form the whole series so far. I see another hundred coming unless they get him now.

Well, he's eating up this Indian attack at the moment.

Inzy's been brilliant ever since the duck wrote that 'Magic Balti' article.

<quack> I take all the credit.

Still can't run, though.

Just heard the following through the DD stump-mic...

(inzy runs the ball down to third man)

<Younis> Two
<Inzy> One
<Younis> What? There's easily two there. If I wasn't batting with such a poor runner there'd be three
<Inzy> Poor runner? I'll have you remember who you are talking to.
<Younis> (****ily) OK, fatty. You run one, I'll run three and we'll take the average.
<Inzy> (cleverly) Ah, India are to be bringing Kartik on again. Now I am wanting you to be playing the ball over square leg whenever you can. Don't worry - Pathan can't catch.
<Younis> OK, skipper
<India> HOWZAAAAAAAATTTTTT?
