Pak on other hand just rely on akhter.
Pak just dont rely on Akhtar but Sami basically won the 2nd odi with his yorkers and akhtar was getting hit.Sami also performed better then akhtar when pak beat NZ in pak
Is it just me or is this a tiny bit contradictory?ajaagarkarajaaja said:Sorry, but unlike Hell i don't live in a fantasy world.

Yes, but that's exactly what I said, with 4 or 5 down and 10 overs to go, it is too early to go all out attack.tooextracool said:they were only 4 wickets down in the last 11 overs until moin khan came in and got out first ball.
had razzaq batted at 6 they could have definetly gone for the slog with younis khan playing anchor at the other end
Laxman possibly (on current form, but he needs to do it against teams other than Australia IMO)ajaagarkarajaaja said:The whole world knows that Laxman is a class act, that Sehwag,Yuvraj and Kaif are wonderful batsmen.
perhaps... but that would be the same "IF" with over 40% ODI matches that go down the wire.I:Indian said:Do you guys think if Nehra had just gotten one single and gave powar the strike and powar hit a four that over and took a single of the last bowl...would have India won?

Good to see you've given them credit. There were just 4 tailenders, though I'd consider Powar to be as good as the middle order, but could someone explain what's the point in picking 7 batsmen when 4 of them were outscored by tailenders and extras?I didn't see much wrong with the way Indian tail order batted in the last few overs.
Oops, can't read tour schedules.Tony Blade said:Next match is at Peshawarm and Badani isnt playing
Playing 3 medium-pacers who are of no quality won't help at all. Look at all the seamers who have succeeded- just Sami and Akhtar. Pace counts here. All those who bowl at easy pace have been hammered. It does not matter how small the ground is, you can't play 3 seamers in these conditions, since they'll be hit out of the ground for six numerous times, given present form.the arguement that was put forward was that the playing area in the arbab niaz stadium is fairly small....with the biggest boundary being 65 yards. based on this i dont think that 3 spinners will be a good option as it will be easier to hit them out of the ground
