Who will be man of the match, Tendulkar or Afridi?
Afridi for me. He was on the winning side. Although Sami could have a case too...crucial run-out, good ball to Dravid, decent bowling all-through

It's all over. Nehra gone for a golden duck, Pak win by 12 runs.

Pakistan win..great bowling by Sami+Shoaib in the last 5,6 overs...similar to Nehra, Zaheer in the last game.. Stunning game!

theres to all u sami doubters in the last game... great bowling
Sometimes wonder why people are so harsh to him!!

When he played in England last summer in ODIs, he bowled ferociously fast and accurate too. Bowled an absolute gem to Michael Vaughan in one of the games which was clocked at 90+ mph, just short of a length on off-stump and roared past Vaughan's outside edge.

hafta wonder why razzaq came in at no 8 when he is the cleanest hitter in both sides...
The nature of the man meant that had he gone in at 249-4 or 249-5 with 10 overs left, he may very well have got out quickly.

By sending Malik in, they built him a platform to swing nearer the end, where his dismissal wouldn't have exposed the tail for anywhere near as long (and hence potentially wasted overs)

wow india has now given away 3 back to back 300+ runs, and Pak is not far behind with 2 back to back 300+ runs. I guess both teams are testing the limits of sucky bowling...

But it looks like tendulkar got the man of the match

Inconsistency springs to mind...he wasn't exactly great in New Zealand...

Well, in that case, congrats. I'm of the opinion that an MoM should be chosen from the winning side. Very hard to pick a Pakistani today though, very much a team effort from Pakistan with Sami, Yasir Hameed, Shahid Afridi, Razzaq and Shoaib all working towards the win.

What a cracking game, watched most of the day and the course of the game seemed to change so many times. India looked favourites when Tendulkar and Dravid were in.

I thought Sami was excellent, but the field they set at the end especially to Akthar made no sense. The only way the tail were going to get runs apart from the odd shot was behind the wicket keeper but there didn;t seem to be any protection given. Seemed odd, but still on balance I think the best team won.

Man what a batting by Balaji and Powar. From 5 overs 47 to 14 off 10 . I think India would have won if Balaji had not got runout. They were facing the yorkers of Sami and Shoiab pretty well and scoring of them too. Powar has really me impressed me . My feeling was that he would struggle against pace looking at the way he bats in domestic cricket but he did well. Hope the Indian bowling starts performing now otherwise my prediction of 4-1 to Pak looks inevitable.

what a performance by pakistan.
a fantastc game of cricket.
tendulkar was stunning.
shoaib showed again what a dangerous bowler he is.
nothing needs to be said for sami.....the guy is an exceptional talent.
one thing is for sure .....this series will go down in history....tremendous ....tremendous cricket.........
another close encounter.....crickis really the real winner here.....

I would have given to Afridi. He was the main matchwinner today. That wicket of Yuvraj was what tilted it in Pak's favour i think. But they seem to be more inclined towards centurions than who are on the match winning team. Last match Inzamam and now Sachin (?) . Ten Sports Channel in India didn't show the presentation citing technical problems in the match presentation ceremony and so not sure whether Sachin got it.

shoaib and sami....are undoubtedly the most deadly bowling pair.although shoaib went for a few runs towards the end ...(powar and balaji) u cant really hold that against him....most of them were edges(good batting by powar and balaji).
shoaib was by far the best bowler in the match .....not far behind from the indian side was (unexpectedly)nehra.
sami was outstanding.
what do i say about afridi.....a dream comeback....an absolutely scintalating knock....and a pretty decent effort with the bowl.
i dont think that malik should be in the side ....however he was pretty handy with the bat and bowled decently with the ball....getting the prize wicket of tendulkar.
shabbir was disappointing....but he should not be dropped as theer had to be one bolwre that the indians had to target.

great going .......PAKISTAN

'Nehra has cut the webbing of his hand, wont be playing for the rest of the tour.' Is that true. :O. Nehra looked really lost while batting...he didnt even watch the ball..if you look carefully he was looking at the sky at one point. Injury, fatigue sprains and what-not. Poor guy.

i am perhaps the beiggest critic of nehra....but the guy has performed well and has by far been india's best bowler in the series.....this is really unlucky for him

Sami was by far the best bowler in the match...the wicket suited him.the ball was sliding and keeping little low.I think shoaib and nehra were on par after him.

If the Man of the Match is to be from the winning side(according to a few here), then how can Inzi's award in the first match be justified? sachin deserved it( so is with Afridi..)It was not atall a convincing victory for pakistan, infact they just managed to win (just like India did in the first) considering the fact that they got 3 superfast quality bowlers and the match was under flood light . So MOM could have been from either side.
Congrats Pak for levelling the series.I really enjoyed Afridi's batting.
Congrats Sachin for 13000 runs and yet another century (first by an Indian in Pak).
