Has Afridi finally grown his brain back?
I have no idea but I'm excited watching it on Cricinfo. :saint:

Afridi reaches 50 off just 33 balls. 7 fours and 2 sixes.

Afridi's killing India :O
Nehra's playing :O
He's bowling well :O

Interesting to see where this goes.

This is such a turnaround for Afridi....unless I've missed something. Has he shown any signs of doing this recently?

105/0 (13 overs)

Afridi 60* (42)
Hameed 34* (36)

Khan 5 - 0 - 51 - 0 . Ouch.

This is Mr Ganguly's chance to show whether he has the captaincy skills to bring this back. No-one is going to want to bowl at the moment. Except Nehra, another who I thought was rather dodgy, with 2 overs for 2 runs so far.

commone dude we all know afridi on a flat pitch in the sub continent against a pathetic indian bowling lineup = killer

looks like we're gonna see another 700 run match...yay to the pitch curators for another lifeless pitch!

now they do say that a guide to a final score is take the score after 30 overs and double it...could we be on for a score of 400 by pakistan here

Yuvraj strikes again. That's 2 for him, Afridi and Youhanna.
Spinners are doing a good job and if they get Inzamam who knows.

Unless there`s a collapse, they`ve gotta get 360-plus I reckon. Many neutral cricket-lovers will be rooting for Pakistan in this game. We want to see a good, close series.

another run out involving inzi. not watching the match so can't comment. but its unfortunate, hameed deserved a 100.

He maybe the fastest, but it doesnt make him good.
Getting Inzi and Moin in 2 balls does however. Brilliant stuff for Nehra and Pakistan's run rate is dropping.

God damn it I knew Razzaq would take Zaheer to the cleaners. What is wrong with Zaheer, is he just not 100% fit or is he just bowling absolute rubbish? 60+ runs off 6 overs is absolutely disgusting. I knew he would get smashed when Ganguly brought him back.

Nehra and Yuvraj have been the only ones that have bowled well today.

Why didn't Balaji bowl? He's by far the most accurate...

If Ganguly wanted spin, why didn't he bowl Powar instead of Tendulkar?

Yeesh, why don't they just pack the side with 11 batsmen who can roll their arms.

It's really quite disgusting...

330 to score under lights against shoaib, shabbir. Everyone is going to have to fire this time. I'm glad laxman's back

Balaji 6 0 47 0 (4w)
Khan 7 0 72 0 (2w)
Nehra 10 0 44 3
Sehwag 5 0 39 0 (1nb)
Yuvraj Singh 10 1 41 2 (1w)
Powar 6 0 35 0 (1w)
Tendulkar 6 0 45 0 (2w)

Shocking! Tendulkar shouldn't of bowled at all, Powar should of finished his 10 and so should of Balaji. Kahn should of never been brought back into the attack after his first 5 overs, that was really stupid captaincy from Ganguly. If India lose this they know where they went wrong, the same damn place they went wrong against Australia in the World Cup final, against Australia in the VB series final, against Pakistan A and against Pakistan in the last ODI.

I've supported Ganguly for a long time but he isn't using his bowlers properly. Granted his resources are very poor to use, but come on stop bowling Sachin honestly. At least he kept himself away from the ball I guess.

india has given 20 more runs in last 4 overs...ganguly once again
proved why he is ********...hope india doesn't crumble against high score chasing as they did against aus in second final.. wickets are vital.. good opening start is required..

Powar should of finished his 10
i think ganguly wanted to bowl leg spinners than offies thats why yuvraj and sachin instead of shewag and powar which kind of make sense.

But why does he make spinners bowl 49th over, i dont understand

It's a strange series in that respect, the explosive starts haven't lead to the usual doubling in spite of having wickets in hand.

Me too. Repeated bowling failures have made me change sides. Is there really a big barrier of communication between Ganguly and the bowlers?

Good ball by Sami to get Laxman out. Clearly, Indians can't face pace. A lot of pace, used intelligently, can get anyone out.

Look at Ganguly's inside edge against a Sami 140+ ball. Pace counts.

Zaheer should be dropped from the rest of the series. He's not fit, and he's having far oo many problems to continue as a strike bowler. Amit Bhandari has reason to feel unlucky. So does Irfan Pathan.
