ROFLMAOindia has the best batting and the best bowling attack in the world.
this, however, is false. the indian batting lineup is IMO AT LEAST equal to if not better than the aussies.Australia still has the strongest batting line up in the world by a mile if you ask me.
the only people that would make the side would be hayden and gilchrist. hayden would replace chopra, and gilchrist would replace patel. apart from that..IMO sehwag> langer, dravid>ponting, tendulkar>martyn, and laxman>waugh. so i reiterate...i believe the indian batting lineup is at the LEAST equal to the aussies..if not better. If Waugh, Hayden, Ponting, Langer, Martyn and Gilchrist were to travel to India and decide to live there, do you, in your opinion, think that they would be able to get into the current Indian side?
Mr Mxyzptlk is a villain from the comic book Superman. Comic collecting is a hobby of mine.jagaways said:hehehe lol@ mr mxyzptlk...btw how xactli did u come up with that nick?
Hmmm... Langer has better temperament IMO. I would think it would be Ponting v Tendulkar, in which case I would say they are equal. Dravid is a best as good as Ponting IMO, but clearly better than Martyn. Martyn is better than Ganguly and Laxman IMO.jagaways said:apart from that..IMO sehwag> langer, dravid>ponting, tendulkar>martyn, and laxman>waugh.
Are we talking about the same Amits who thinks Tendulkar is the greatest player EVER???gibbsnsmith said:also, its quite pointless to do manto man on teams as it does really show much, itd be another idea to compare partnerships
such as Sehwag and Chopra V Hayden and Langer....surely no doubts, EVEN from Amit, to who the better is there
Man to man comparisons are pointless. I think your comparison would mean more if it were:iamdavid said:Sehwag v Hayden - I'd take Hayden as would anyone (bar Amits)
Chopra v Langer - Langer
Dravid v Ponting - to close to call , I honestly couldnt seperate them , depends on conditions.
Tendulkar v Martyn - Tendulkar
Ganguly v Waugh - Waugh
Laxman v Katich - Laxman
Patel v Gilchrist - Gilchrist
AA v Lee - hhmm , interesting , again a very close one , would have to flip a coin.
Harbhajan v Warne - Warne
Gillespie v Khan - Gillespie
McGrath v Nehra - McGrath
Australia wins man for man 7-2 (2 are to close to call)
That's not a very far-fetched opinion. If he said Sehwag was the greatest player ever, I'd put the lol symbold 4 times. When it gets all the way up to Tendulkar, it's a matter of opinion. Don't throw me Bradman's 99 or Pollock's 62 and scrutinize it next to Tendulkar's snivelling 55. Times are different. So are players.Blewy said:Are we talking about the same Amits who thinks Tendulkar is the greatest player EVER???
Hmm.. i have seen some people with that opinion actually and not necessarily all are Indian. There was no technology during those days, Cricket played almost every other day which means player burnout or loss appetite , Bradman 's bat coming from third man area , improved fielding ,etc,. are the reasons cited. But one has to give it to Bradman b'coz he did what no other person did. But that was not the correct one to quote but maybe India having the best bowling attack or Kartik finishing off Aus in 10 balls are the onesBlewy said:Are we talking about the same Amits who thinks Tendulkar is the greatest player EVER???
Very true.krkode said:That's not a very far-fetched opinion. If he said Sehwag was the greatest player ever, I'd put the lol symbold 4 times. Quote saved for future reference.ReallyCrazy said:Sehwag V Langer : Sehwag is sooooo much better.
Only Hayden and Gilchrist are the better than Chopra and Patel. In everything else, the Indian batting lineup is better.
Yes, let's disregard the other 330 wickets @ 24.16 with 16 five-wicket hauls and 4 ten-wicket hauls. After all, England and India are the only other teams that matter... :rolleyes:koch_cha said:Every one Want Warne in their team.Just look at his performance aganist india and u will know how bad a bowler he is. u have to perform aganist the best that a spinner will face not the aganist the english who doest even know how to play a spinner!!!!!.

I disagree - IMO one of the top 2 line ups by a long way.CDAK said:Remember, only the team effort made aus the world champ and ur batting line up is no better than anyother test playing nations(other thean Bangladesh and Zimbabwe) .
In the 2nd Innings of said match yes, but don't forget the First Day.ReallyCrazy said:India were simply the better team in the last match.

In Brisbane, Australia had India 3-62, then let them make 400+.
In Adelaide, Australia had India 4-85, then let them make 500+ ?
You're so clearly wrong.amits said:india has the best batting and the best bowling attack in the world.
Hayden and Langer, Ponting and Gilchrist yes, the rest no.Linda said:I am interested to know your thoughts on this question amits...
