*Official* India in Australia Thread

U19 12th Man

Having seen the way Bracken and MacGill bowled in contrast today, the selectors might still be pressured to keep MacGill.
And having seen the scorecard (I only caught glimpses of the innings) the selectors will be loathe to make Katich (118 off 108 against Tas) 12th man.

It's looking a bit grim for Bracken...

Lol how embarrasing for india..!

Kumble 4 wickets thats good for them..but either balaji or pathan need to improve to help khan and nehra out !

oh and the batting needs to click hard aswell !

Bracken is an interesting batsman clean hitter I would say he hit's a little like Shane Bond. Not very good in deffense though lol.

Just wait to you see him bat though huge backlift and interesting style.

Well last time , India defeated New South Wales team in the leadup to the test matches but was horrible in the tests. Surely India wouldn't perform worse than that:P

Still predicting a 3-1 win to India Amits:lol:

I would honestly be very suprised if they win a test , they are being humiliated by a below strength Queensland 2ndXI :P

This Indian performance is disgusting...how does one explain such humiliation at the hands of second string sides? I shudder at the thought of what the test squad will do to the Indians.

If the Indians don't pick it up, I can easily see an Australia whitewash with at least 3 wins by an innings and more. I am starting to get a feeling this is going to be a very loooooonnnng tour for both Indian players and their fans.

I heard Simon Doull on a radio station the other day that India would rise up & draw the 1st test with Australia, but there's no way in hell I can see that happening.

As I speak, India are 208/9 against the Queensland Academy of Sport.
Sure there's been a trend of teams playing poorly against FC sides, but this is extremely poor & I can't see India gaining enough confidence to even draw the 1st test.

The problem for India now is that they needed a good start on this tour, but because they have been poor the media will come down on them like a tonne of bricks.

This has been built as a 'big' test series, especially by the Indians..but as far as im concerned they are still well off the pace of being a good test side..despite the fact that they have more natural flair than other sides, you still need to have players who are tough enough to deal with all the pressure.

It strikes me that there is always a concerted effort by the Australian press to come down on anyone like a tonne of bricks - an atmosphere which breeds people (sic) like David Hookes who court controversy just to keep their little flicker of limelight.

Who am I to argue, though? He gives me half my material.

I just want to rub in exactly how badly India are playing at the moment.

Lets not forget that this is not even a Queensland 2nd XI , the normal Queensland 2nd XI would include Mitch Johnson , Brendan Nash , Nick Kruger & a couple of others , this is really the equivalent of a Sydney first grade side.

I will be intruiged to see what you have to say after the Aussies wipe the floor with India inside 4 days:lol: :P
