I assumed everyone knew that Dravid was listed at 4 and Tendulkar at 5 and therefore he would come in ahead of Tendulkar anyway. Ganguly and Patel are listed at 6 & 7 respectively and therefore it would be beneficial for them to come in ahead of Tendlukar. Dravid should be the next batsman in, if another wicket falls.rajat said:y not dravid? i think he should come first. ganguly will never improve atleast on australian pitches. he is hopeless. Its just that india will be playing with 10 players in the test match
I don't see why you would take Tendulkar out of his spot - 4.Mister Wright said:I assumed everyone knew that Dravid was listed at 4 and Tendulkar at 5 and therefore he would come in ahead of Tendulkar anyway. I wasn't talking about the test match, I was talking about the tour game. Tendullkar got 80 in the first dig and Ganguly got 2 and Patel an unconvincing 50* so they obviously needed more practice than the great one.Mr Mxyzptlk said:I don't see why you would take Tendulkar out of his spot - 4.
I can't remember England trumpeting about how good their pace attack was. That might have something to do with us missing Gough and having 2 innexperianced pacers in Jones and Harmison.jamesryfler said:put it this way Neil "Pickup" -- I can't see India being any worse than England.
At least India did not come out to Australia with grandiose statements about how good their pace attack were when the truth weas quite different --
well Australia showed the lack of quality in bowlers like Caddick, Hoggard and Harmison were.
