How ****ing good is this? We have two young aggressive batsmen there who are in contention for best young batsman in the world who are both capable of playing fantastic shots against good bowling and are just so, so good to watch. Then we have two pace bowlers bowling 143k and leaking 5.3 wpm and the leader of our attack outside of a one flukey freak spell a year takes a wicket every two years.

Wish we could just root for our batting, get BCCI to change the rules of test cricket to the win being the first winnings lead.

India really should consider playing 9 batsmen + dhoni + ashwin. An attack of Ashwin, Kohli, Rohit, Vijay, Dhawan and Tiwary can't do significantly worse than what we have now.

would probably be too tired to bat if they bowl though (I know ur joking but still haha :P).

Still maintain its our bowling that needs a boost rather than our batting, an all rounder bowler would have been so much more useful.

Dhoni is maybe the best seamer anyway, also.

Brilliant partnership forming there between 2 of the most talented batsmen in the world - hope this doesn't get marred by a silly umpiring error after lunch

Haha, Rahane actually gets into a pull position more than he defends v. the short ball which is crazy at test level in Australia and he only filters whether to follow through with the pull or not after the shot is partially complete which leaves him in a vulnerable position. Really needs to learn to curb his instincts.
tbf attempting to defend a head-high bouncer in Australia is an absolutely terrible idea.

This is the worse Kind of Wicket for India really. Bowlers have to bowl quality to take wickets and batsman have to put up big partnerships.

Green seamers suit us better these days.
