Nah he's fine, a bit over eager perhaps and maybe doesn't quite have the number of shots against the spinners compared to some of the other bats but I can't see him struggling against spin.
I think he gets bogged down a bit against the offies abroad and then plays awkward high risk shots to take a single like just that. Needs a low risk go to shot to rotate.

You'd think it's impossible to do be the absolute best batsman in Indian FC cricket for two years like Rahane has and be bad against spin. Hopefully it's just standard deceptive Rahane awkwardness.
At home Rahane tends to be lot more attacking towards spinners. I have a theory that Indian batsman are struggling more against these offies abroad due to extra carry and bounce off the pitch actually.

At home on slower wickets it's only about countering the turn until rough appears and can plant the front foot forward more or use feet more comfortably.

Rahane defo prefers facing pacers instead of spinners though. His height might have something to do with it as well, reminds me a bit of Tendulkar in that regard.

Now that Rahane has finished getting himself out at 70 like he's made a habit of, he owes himself and us a hundred.

In England Rahane was bopping Anderson into the Lords pavilion on a green top then chipping it back to Moeen a couple weeks later.

Australia clearly losing the plot. Rahane and Kohli 200s imminent, before Shami bounces us to victory on the fifth day.
