First time i've heard that as an excuse. Sounds dodgy.Apparently no conclusive Snicko on the Rahul Dravid dismissal because of Background noise.
But Morgan's decision wasn't reviewed!Seriously? After all that guff about Morgan at Lord's, you're coming around to this now?
Agree. Shastri and Gavaskar have become embarrassing really. I can do without such supporters of Indian team.I hate these commentators with a passion. All I want is Ganguly and Hussain, the rest can just **** right off
Waiting for Gavaskar to draw his traditional link with the Ian Bell recall somehow.Agree. Shastri and Gavaskar have become embarrassing really. I can do without such supporters of Indian team.
Thats not right. No snicko allowed to be used in UDRS thanks to the Indian set ups objections to it. Now we have Bhogle saying like the wise old sage that he becomes on such occasions, "Even if snicko is not allowed to be used why shouldn't the umpire have used it in Dravid's case if it heps give the right decision"Apparently no conclusive Snicko on the Rahul Dravid dismissal because of Background noise.
No snicko allowed to be used by the umpire, but the Broadcasters were still showing it as it takes time to load.Thats not right. Well Mr Bhogle we cant decide when we want snicko and when we dont - thats why.
Well for one the clarity of those images would be pretty poor and for another they would also find it harder to control what particular images they wanted to see. They'd have to ask the 3rd umpire to rewind to a certain scene and freeze on a certain spot and it would be incredibly clumsy. Why not, in the case of a review, show the replay's, snicko and hot spot results all on the big wide screen and let the umpires on the field decide whether they want to stick to the decision given or change it. Then they would have factored in both the technology and the human angle. I also think this is a more respectful way to treat on field umpires than the 3rd umpire using the technology and imposing HIS interpretation of the findings.
There was the same waves throughout on the one they showed on Star cricket and then one big one when it hit the pads.SKY have just showed Snicko and there is a noise when it goes by the bat but there is a fair bit of background noise.
Not on the one they just showed on SKY, noise past bat and then pad but there is other interference as well, that's not my opinion even though that's what it looks like but that's what the comms have just said. There was the same waves throughout on the one they showed on Star cricket and then one big one when it hit the pads.
No real difference when it passes the bat at all.
Has to be the same replay surely? There was no major difference at all when it passed the bat.Not on the one they just showed on SKY, noise past bat and then pad but there is other interference as well, that's not my opinion even though that's what it looks like but that's what the comms have just said.
