Sehwag should use this innings as a net for the one dayers. Needs time in middle to find some form and this pitch aint a bad one to bat on.

**** this DRS **** yo, you've taken our best batsmen of the tour, someone capable of playing a match saving innings on the final day and given him out, that too despite the fact that the original decision was not out.

So lol worthy this. If we lose this test I will be ****ing pissed.

rubbish 3rd umpiring. i've seen the replays 100 times now. there's no way 3rd umpire could've given that.
It's due to the diagonal replay that they used, imo. It makes the ball seem like it is deflecting away when seen in that angle, especially in light of the bat coming vertically down.

A pity it had to happen, let alone to Dravid, who seemed to intimate that he wasn't entirely against the use of the full UDRS suite. I reckon his faith in the technology has dissipated now.

Very strange decision. The problem is not with the technology here but the 3rd umpires perspective. If technology is going to be used to overturn the umpires decision it (the technology) must provide clear evidence that the umpire made an error. Otherwise the original decision must stand even if it is just a confirmation of what might have been a benefit of the doubt to the batsman.

The UDRS system does not guarantee 100 percent correct results. It just helps, to remove most of the howlers and for that alone it should be encouraged. But I am afraid in the next few days we will hear from those in the Indian establishment and those who are acting as their spokespersons will use this Dravid dismissal to run down the UDRS system. The fact is that this decision has not been given because of technology but inspite of it.

I do not know if Dravid nicked it or not but there was nothing to suggest that he did and thats all the 3rd umpire should have considered.

Can't blame Sehwag, coming in against a good side after so long out is a tough/ridiculous ask. maybe he could have had the op sooner but even then it would have been a tough tour for him.

I expect him to destroy us in 16 months time in India.8-)

As it is i was frustrated with that highly stupid decision, but then Gavaskar comes onto the air with his further infuriating speak and nonsense.

Why does anybody take that **** seriously?

He is worse than Botham for being a bitter twisted sad old fart and that says a lot.

Seriously? After all that guff about Morgan at Lord's, you're coming around to this now?
Eh?
How the hell are the 2 related in anyway?

Don't want to go over it again but there is a fundamental difference between walking off and waiting Or reviewing.Dravid thought he was out last match and walked off but then admitted that he made a mistake and should have reviewed, Morgan hasn't even admitted that in the public. Infact all the noises came opposite.

And even then i am not screaming over rooftops claiming a error last match because it was partially the batsman's fault for not reviewing.Though it wasn't allegedly in a hypothetical situation some were framing a case of not knowing the rules like with Morgan.

Then there was the case of the whole vaseline gate and people on here calling Laxman a cheat based on his facial reactions FFS!!!!
