The humiliation continues in 4 hours time. Looking forward to it, and glad Warner was prepared to state what is plain and obvious to anyone watching.

Everyone watching knew what Trott was being set up for, and like a rabbit in the headlights he duly obliged. Wait til Johnson gets hold of him in Perth

Sun's out here at the moment. Was happy to see a storm roll through last night too, it absolutely pissed down just to tease the English batsmen and, while there are a few clouds around, hopefully they'll be out bright and early this morning.

Depends if you want your cricketers saying whatever the **** they want, or doing what is the right thing by the team I guess.
The two things are not mutually exclusive, ya know. And if talking a lot but not saying anything is "the right thing for the team" then the sport has managed to completely out do itself in offensive blandness.

Cricket needs more players willing to talk in things other than "oh, we showed good character out there today bland bland wanky bollocks"

So good on Warner for actually saying what he's thinking and showing some ****ing personality. Long may it continue.
Not if it blows up in his and Australia's face. I don't watch player interviews or generally listen to their comments. They are usually tedious. I just prefer players to show their personality and skill on the field. What we don't need is some dickhead, whose team is in a rare good position against the team that's flogged them 3 series in a row, giving that team some ammo to fire back. Just shut your stupid mouth, play as hard as you can and if you win be generous to your opponent. I don't want to see Warner's "personality" if its something so ugly its better off hidden.

Disappointing to see what happened with the Cook runout yesterday, would've been lovely to see him gone for 0.

Apparently Siddle has got Pietersen 7 times. Some nice cracks in the deck, and some movement early. Hope it results in wickets.

Johnson would potentially waste any advantage gained by being at the batsman early, and they'd get set before Siddle came on.

Siddle bowling some cracking deliveries here. Unfortunately they're wasted on a batsman of KP's quality. Need someone good enough to get an edge on one.

Siddle looking the more dangerous bowler on the limited evidence this far

Some good running from KP and Cook, good to see them rotating the strike a little
