Sterling has always been better. Rashford is ahead of where Sterling was at the same age though imo.

Sterling has been better than Rashford for years. I cant think of a single time when Sterling would not be picked over Rashford. Heck, Sterling was the only bright spot in England's 2014 WC campaign or was it the Euros, I can't remember now. There are currently only 2 players in England who Id label genuinely world class, Sterling and Kane.

How is Mark Hughes still in a job when he's just been getting rolled by any half decent team he's faced for the last 18 months?

Personally think Rashford's ceiling is insanely high. Reckon he'd be absolutely frightening in a Guardiola side.
Yeah he’s got the pace+agility to become crazy good, more powerful than Sterling too but doesn’t have the same level of close control. He’s very direct so Guardiola might not be the best fit. Conte would get a lot out of him but I reckon Mourinho will do fine too.

United pretty much stopped after the City debacle, utterly awful today. Jose will talk about injuries but that is bollocks, Smalling in and out of the side, Fellani and Carrick are reserves and Zlatan has been inured forever. Valencia is a loss, but ffs he is not exactly peak Cafu.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan starting was Jose's call which was dreadful, need some wingers asap.

Time for Mourinho to stop mentioning the price of City's fullbacks and join the rest of us in the top four scrap.

Is the story about Mourinho not coaching attacking play true? Seems odd.

United definitely miss some sort of wide play. Too often it's all through the middle and easy for organized defenses to nullify. Having wide players, midfielders an fullbacks who all like to cut inside is an issue. Shaw is one of the few guys who looks good going wide so hopefully he can stay fit and in the team.

United should spend a couple million teaching Pogba not to try to steal goals from his teammates imo

Those 2 points could cost them a few million come May, a place in the league is almost worth that these days and it will be tight below City for the other places.

The best part about the fullback complaints is that we're playing a midfielder we got for peanuts 4 years ago at LB.
That's the aspect of Guardiola's management that's so often overlooked.

People are downplaying what he's doing at City because he's a 'chequebook manager' (we'll ignore the fact that Otamendi, Fernandinho, Silva, de Bruyne, Aguero and Sterling weren't signed by Guardiola), prior to that it was 'well anyone could win trophies with that Barcelona team (again, ignoring that they'd won nothing for 2 seasons prior to him taking charge).

In 5 years time if people aren't dismissing him as a chequebook manager then it'll be 'well I could win the league with those players'

I'd back him to win the league with virtually any side in the division, he's that good a coach.

Obviously Pep has benefited from a huge war chest, but he has used it at times a little more sensibly than Jose. He spent less on Jesus and Sane combined than Lukaku. He spent a lot on full backs but at least he addressed an obvious weakness unlike Jose and well yeah wingers.

Jose won't be winning the champs league so its top 4 or the dole queue. Simple as that.

The minute he leaves United he'll be on a plane to Paris.
Every report that isn’t obviously Mourinho-sourced says PSG don’t want him.

I wish we’d sack our managers because someone better becomes available, rather than because they’ve failed to meet arbitrary goals with a huge element of luck.
