Don't want to sound bitter (actually, meh) but it's annoying seeing Kane and Alli combine for these goals when they should be on 3 match bans.

Alli should be banned for that dive the other day without even taking into account the 2 dreadful tackles in the last 2 games. People like Niasse and Austin must feel very harshly treated when they see Alli get away with it yet they get banned for the same things Alli has got away with.

The problem the guy has of all the top sides in England, United probably the one he is less suited to. No proper wingers and average full backs along with inconsistent creative midfielders make his job bloody difficult.

Anyone else wonder where we'd be without Lingard this season? Anyone else start crying at the thought? Still, if it means those sections of the crowd who rag on him cut him some slack...

Must be over £250m that they have spent on Southampton players now. Presume they are spending the Coutinho money before he is sold to Barcelona.

For all the people bemoaning our tactics there, I don't see any other great ways to go about playing City with such a limited team.

Think all you could say is we could have gone on the attack after 70-odd minutes rather than 80. Had a glaring chance still.

No matter how much they spend on defenders, nothing will fix that Liverpool defence except coaching. Defence starts and ends with how your team is set up.

Has Rashford lost a bit of form lately? For the first time in ages, Sterling actually looks a better bet for the national side at present.

For me Sterling has always been a much better bet for the national side.

Hopefully Southgate will recognise that Alli isn't deserving of a spot in the squad, but I'll settle for him not being an automatic starter (although I can't see that happening). I'd actually even prefer Lingard to him now.
