Don’t want to rag on our best player but de Gea should be claiming that every time. Ball travels 60 yards and lands foot-height inside the six yard box.

Hilariously bad game management at 11v10 too. Can’t win them all though, got lucky often enough this season and at least everyone else dropped points too (City don’t count).

It's so painful seeing Szczesny prosper at Juve. All those development pains we experienced and he's spending his peak at other clubs while our keeper is 35.

Yeah it's the downside to him hugging his line and being the best shot stopper in the world. You wonder if someone like Neuer or Ederson would've cut out the first goal too.

Were probably unlucky not to get the 3rd on the break as well tbh.

Haha I was thinking something similar watching the game.

Was he not only on loan at Roma?

**** me people criticise Liverpool for being loose defensively but Arsenal's defending for Liverpool's 2nd and 3rd goals was atrocious.

Possibly although the backspin on the ball makes it hard to judge in a way that favours Mahrez. But if he comes and doesn’t get there it goes down as a howler, whereas letting it in as he does nobody pins it on him. I remember Lloris missing one to let (iirc) Sane score and getting pasted for it, when if he’d stayed put it was a simple 1 on 1 anyway.

I mean there’s a balance to be struck, Cech claims every cross anywhere near him but often ends up a few yards off his line facing shots, which makes it easy for the striker. I don’t mind DDG staying for the first one but he should get to the second.

Wasn't this Salah? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJb41DB-Yr4 about 1:15. Hard to tell if he would have gotten to it without being able to see his starting position ofc.

The finishing was very poor last night, Lukaku should have a few assists. The decline in Herrara is incredible, genuinely is a liability this season, when last season he was really good. I never thought he was a dude you win leagues with, but ****ing hell the guy is the shits these days.

A full back for January is needed, obviously more positions need to be filled, but its going to take 2 transfer windows minimum to get the squad needed to bother City, so need to go to work next month.
