Just read that Rosicky played for Arsenal U21s tonight, and it dawned on me that he's actually very nearly been at Arsenal long enough to qualify for a testimonial. Made me think, and I realised that, despite the fact that so much of his Arsenal career has been blighted by injury, he's actually been an extremely important player. Scored loads of really important goals, and made loads of other really important contributions, when times were looking somewhat bleak between 2011 and the present. His performances in the 2012/13 season, along with Van Persie's, are probably what salvaged what was turning out to be a horrendous season. Scored loads of goals against Spurs as well, WAG.
Probably quite underrated on the whole, and yet another unfortunate case of a "what could have been" Arsenal player.
