Scandalous.Anyone following the Optus pricing debacle re: Prem broadcast rights? If you aren't an Optus post-paid mobile or Internet customer you're ****ed, if you wanna watch it on a TV you're paying over $2k over two years. Next season is gonna be rough on most of us fans. Not really looking forward to dodgy streams every weekend.
Arsenal Fan TV claiming they can poach the best player from the Champions when they haven't even guaranteed CL footie for next season.Arsenal Fan TV claims Kante has a £20m release clause in his contract. No way.
I agree with the general point that the Leicester system makes him look more exceptional than he is, but he's still in a totally different league to Coquelin. His work without the ball is probably slightly better anyway, but he regularly dribbles past players to set up quick counters and Coquelin almost never does that. In fact it might be the one thing Arsenal have missed most this season with Cazorla and Rosicky both out injured. He'd be a useful addition if you could get him, especially at £20m, but there might be others out there that are a better fit.My #hottake on Kante is that he's not that much better than Coquelin, just playing in a system that suits him more. Either way, I'd be trying to move the club in a different direction.
63 is more than double 20, not more than triple 20. Well done.In November last year, Optus surprised the market by swooping on the rights to the EPL, agreeing to pay $63 million annually, which is understood to be more than double the $20 million a year that Fox Sports in paying now.
Yeah, on talk sport last night 'Paddy Power' said they'll never again offer such high odds on footballIt looks like the bookies are running scared. Even Burnley are only 1000-1 for next season.
