Honestly, Jake Humphrey is a numpty, slagging off Moyes over rotation, saying Taggart wouldn't have done it, but he did it constantly, and it worked.

Honestly convinced many pundits make goldfish seem like a Memory Man.

There did seem to be slightly more reason to Ferguson's rotation though. I've yet to get my head around much of Moyes' rotation on the other hand.

Oh, don't get me wrong, Moyes is two-bob, but just forgetting that Ferguson always rotated is just bollox.

It used to annoy me when Rafa and Ranieri was criticised for it too, when he was doing it just as much, and it didn't always work.

It's all part of the positioning of Taggart as some kind of great old-school manager, when in reality if he hadn't adapted to rotation and the other advantages of the modern game, he'd never have been as remotely successful as he was. Why Moyes will fail too, IMHO.

I think the shock about this result is it's not even a surprise.

Just pathetic.

Was almost a repeat of the Everton game.

So disjointed 2nd half after they scored particularly. Start of the 2nd half for a 10/15 minute period was the only time we looked like building some pressure up.

Looked so unlikely to create last 20 minutes which was the most alarming thing for 2 games in a row now.

Well one thing United fans where right about, the win against Arse has certainly turned your season around, just maybe not in the right direction.

Yeah I do agree with all of that.

It was always a bad appointment. Pretty frustrating at the moment.

How bad were United. Moyes looks totally out of his depth here. Feel sorry for him as he was a hero of mine in his days as a Town centre half but the last two games have been woeful for United, not what you expect from them, slow and just pumping aimless balls forward all the time. How long till he gets the sack?

Anyone's guess in all honesty. Whilst I'm not pro-Moyes by any means I do hope it's not mid-season.

Heard a few noises that we won't sack him because it's not our style to get rid of managers. Wonder how the people saying this know that given it's 23 years since getting rid of a manager was even any sort of vague debate. How does anyone know what United's style is?

Noises coming out of the club are that he will be given time but obviously you wouldn't expect anything different on that front.

First win at Old Trafford in 41 years, holy ****. Strange that it doesn't feel as much of a big deal as it should.

Moyes was always a slightly odd appointment. I thought his lack of European experience would count against him, but his recruitment obviously has the Ferguson imprimatur on it. I think old Rudolph saw a lot of himself in Moyes, which probably sealed the deal.

It looks as if he's more of a Ferguson manqué tho.Moyes is a hard man (one doesn't successfully ply one'd trade as a centre-half in the lower leagues without being somewhat nail-like), but seems to have a sort of decency about him Sir Alex lacked. One doesn't quite get the impression he'd sell his granny into slavery for three points at Upton Park as one did with his predecessor.

Gone by the window. Ink it in.

Doubt it's gonna be this season unless the team continues to plummet to ridiculous levels.

I'm still of the view a year like this, was unavoidable regardless of who we hired.

Could have been better yes, but These players, the fabric of this club, was Fergie through and through. Nobody could undo that without 3-4 windows at best plus on top of that the summer we had was a fiasco with a new CEO in Woodward who also was adjusting.

With so many tenured players, it wasn't possible. We have so many players who have been here for 7 years or more and used to a certain continuity. No team has that.

And no manager out there has dealt with a situation like this.

Problem for Moyes though is that he wasn't many/if any people's first choice and doesn't have a pedigree he can fall back on to resist this pressure. One of the reasons given for appointing him was also continuity but he himself has almost chosen to almost build from scratch with a new coaching staff and different structures to the team.

It still rankles that we could have had Mourinho, and we went for Moyes. Still seems like some sort of joke.

The vast difference between the CL performances and the PL performances for some reason has been so odd too this season too.

Maybe it's the tempo being higher in the League but still it's like 2 different teams.
