There did seem to be slightly more reason to Ferguson's rotation though. I've yet to get my head around much of Moyes' rotation on the other hand.Honestly, Jake Humphrey is a numpty, slagging off Moyes over rotation, saying Taggart wouldn't have done it, but he did it constantly, and it worked.
Honestly convinced many pundits make goldfish seem like a Memory Man.
Oh, don't get me wrong, Moyes is two-bob, but just forgetting that Ferguson always rotated is just bollox. There did seem to be slightly more reason to Ferguson's rotation though. I've yet to get my head around much of Moyes' rotation on the other hand.
Yeah I do agree with all of that.Oh, don't get me wrong, Moyes is two-bob, but just forgetting that Ferguson always rotated is just bollox.
It used to annoy me when Rafa and Ranieri was criticised for it too, when he was doing it just as much, and it didn't always work.
It's all part of the positioning of Taggart as some kind of great old-school manager, when in reality if he hadn't adapted to rotation and the other advantages of the modern game, he'd never have been as remotely successful as he was. Why Moyes will fail too, IMHO.
I think the shock about this result is it's not even a surprise.
Anyone's guess in all honesty. Whilst I'm not pro-Moyes by any means I do hope it's not mid-season.How bad were United. Moyes looks totally out of his depth here. Feel sorry for him as he was a hero of mine in his days as a Town centre half but the last two games have been woeful for United, not what you expect from them, slow and just pumping aimless balls forward all the time. How long till he gets the sack?
Doubt it's gonna be this season unless the team continues to plummet to ridiculous levels. How bad were United. Moyes looks totally out of his depth here. It still rankles that we could have had Mourinho, and we went for Moyes. Still seems like some sort of joke.Moyes was always a slightly odd appointment. I thought his lack of European experience would count against him, but his recruitment obviously has the Ferguson imprimatur on it. I think old Rudolph saw a lot of himself in Moyes, which probably sealed the deal.
It looks as if he's more of a Ferguson manqué tho.Moyes is a hard man (one doesn't successfully ply one'd trade as a centre-half in the lower leagues without being somewhat nail-like), but seems to have a sort of decency about him Sir Alex lacked. One doesn't quite get the impression he'd sell his granny into slavery for three points at Upton Park as one did with his predecessor.
Gone by the window. Ink it in.
