Well, if I was to support an EPL team, it'd probably be Man City, simply because two of my good mates at work are fans. But I'm more of a neutral observer.

All the City fans I know are great, Dan (Majin here) and Smitteh both top examples. Having said that, I can see why some people might have had worse experiences. Apparently City fans were throwing horse manure from police horses at the United fans while they were at it. No matter which club you go to, there will always be a bad bunch - it just comes down to which of the fans you happen to get to know, I'd say. Always a shame when people get ugly about it, though.

Hmm, clearly city fans in the rest of the world are lesser ****wits than those in Manchester then. The reverse of Utd fans sadly.

Only against a team like Bayern can you get a red card for that. The bunch of total scumbags who'll take it in turn to hack you to pieces, have the somersault with pike as a club trademark, and repeatedly surround the referee waving phantom cards to get players sent off. Barely any of that gets punished, but you can get red cards like that.

Thank god for cricket.

Saw some links saying Mancini wants to sell Ade, Swp and Bridge this summer. Would take the little titch in a flash if it's cut price and would help us with our English quota too.

SWP is done. Doesn't have his pace anymore and he never had much skill with the ball at foot. Love him like a brother but you can have him, Johnno's the WAVE OF THE FUTUREEEE.

Not even close to how quick he used to be. He used to be able to burn any fullback, which was his only real skill, as his final ball is ridiculously poor. He's still quick (especially if a late sub when players are tiring) but he can't burn the Clichy's, Cole's, Evra's etc and hence isn't much use when his footskill is poor and his cross is rubbish. He's not a bad player, but we have and can afford much better.
