Me too, I used to have my doubts but the bloke is a legend.
Haha same here actually. I used to think he just had it in for Arsenal and Man Utd respectively. But I have since learnt that he treats everbody with the equal amount of contempt. What a legend. Really hope he doesn't end up somewhere like Liverpool, I would hate to have to try and stop liking him again.

Shouldn't have been behind the latter two though. Only person who should be behind Wes Brown for a defensive berth is Stephen Hawking. True about Evans, but Pique is by far the superior player, and it was showing at the time. To let him wander back to Barcelona for next to nothing n all.... Mind bar Vidic and Evra, fergie's never been one for a good defensive eye.
If it was a club other than Barca he wouldn't have gone so cheap.

Have a read.

Hopefully Bayern win it and end this Mourinho love-in. The truth is Barca aren't as potent an all-round threat as they were last year, and are far too reliant on Xavi and Messi. Those two did their best, but it's hard to overcome a well-drilled 10-man defence - and to be fair, there is none better at it than a Mourinho team.

Would be nice to see Bayern win it under Van Gaal, they've had their fair share of luck as well, but their brand of football is far more palatable than Mourinho's. Actually, they remind me of a typical Fergie team, strong on the wings, solid in midfield and break quickly. And let's not forget Van Gaal's accomplishments with Ajax in the '90s, he brought through an entire generation of great Dutch footballers.

Hmm. If that happened in his own box would you give a penalty?
Yes, without hesitation. He used his arm to control the ball.

Was it true there were 20 shots to 1 in favour of Barcelona?
Possibly, but the keeper was really only seriously tested once before the goal and pulled off a blinder.

These kinda stats are a bit meaningless as they count the hopeful 40 yard punts as shots as well as the genuine clean through, one-on-ones.

Probs could have got more for him though.

Fantastic organisation at the back indeed, hard to take anything away from Inter. It's amazing how Argentina are so **** if Zanetti, Samuel and Cambiasso's performances are anything to go by.
IIRC Cambiasso barely gets picked these days by Maradona. But he'll call up Veron...

Haha, yes, and Inter's was off target. What was funnier were the passing stats. Inter had 67 passes all game, to Barca's 548

Aren't the conference Play-Offs on telly? I was going to watch to remind me where we've come from, even if we go down, but doesn't seem to be on. Fulhan and the 'pool are so ****ing dull to watch.
