*Official* English Football Season 2009-2010

Was wondering what happened to Rodrigo Possebon, he looked excellent in CM in the Carling Cup last year. He's out on loan.
Yeah, hasn't played much as far as I know - injured again I think and also seems to have lost some form and confidence since Pogatetz tried to kill him last year.

They're generally used when a teams home strip and their away strip both clash with the home strip of another team. For example. Arsenal's home strip is red, and their away strip is blue, so when they play a team like West Ham or Aston Villa, teams that have both red and blue in their home kit, they will have to use their third strip to avoid a clash.

Can't see Portsmouth surviving once the financial situation unravels anyway - there'll be tears before bedtime

They've had to sell all their best players and are now barely Championship class. Take out the few remaning Premiership worthy players like James (mainly) and a couple like Kaboul, Ben Haim, Belhadj and maybe Boateng at a push and i can see them free-falling down the divisions.

One hopes 'Arry "Portsmouth will be my last job in football" Redknapp leaves a similar mess when he departs from Spurts.

The Arse/Scousers Carling dust up an entertaining little game up to HT. Coupla lovely goals from Merida and Insua. Bendtner & Voronin caught up in their own battle to see who can least resemble a Premiership quality striker too. Voronin just edging it. What a hack.

Heh, just read through the F365 live commentary. Swear every second minute they mentioned the words "Babel" and "Easily Dispossesed"

How'd Aquilani look in his first run out?

Pretty good. Ref effed us in the end. A wrong offside call where Voronin was 1v1 and Aquilani's bicycle kick was caught by Sendoros' mits.

Hmm you're the first person I've heard contend the offside. Supposedly it was close but his white boots showed he was offside?

Virtually every game of football has wrong adjudged offsides anyway. Usually ones that favour the defending side.

Anyway Liverpool back to their losing ways. Good good.

Phil could have argued he was protecting his face. No problem with that one, loved little Frannie's goal. Another titch attacking mid isn't exactly our highest priority but at least we have depth somewhere.
