The goals we've copped this season:
Everton - late goal, don't really remember it. Probably lack of concentration though.
Portsmouth - Kaboul takes advantage of Almunia error
Celtic - Good strike
United - Diaby OG, Almunia gives away penalty
Man City - Almunia error, Clichy out of position, Gallas poor defending, was it Clichy again??
Blackburn - Keeper caught out/defender doesn't make the header, Dunn deflection
Birmingham - keeper error
AZ - Diaby poor for the header, Song switched off
West Ham - keeper error, penalty
Concentration sets the best players apart. The old famous five never used to switch off. Going into the last ten minutes even if we were winning comfortably they'd just focus on seeing the time out, make sure the midfield was switched on in front of them and doing their defensive jobs. No mistakes, no lapses.
So how do you improve concentration? Competition for places might give you a "concentrate or he'll play someone who will" mentality. Shame it will never happen. Doomed.
