Manchester United player.Gawd, he's scored 14 in 28 games.

What GIMH said basically, if he goes on to do well on the big stage and against decent sides I will retract the statement, however I can't see it.Gawd, he's scored 14 in 28 games.

Can buy out the rest of their contract, iirc.Out of curiosity can footballers resign when they're under contract?
I admit that I don't know the specifics of the debts, but Man U is comfortably richer than Liverpool.TBH Man Utd are in more debt than Liverpool.
Recently Liverpool has been spending more money, realizing that it's necessary to keep up with the big spending of Man U and Chelsea. But last season I'm fairly certain that Man U spent a fair bit more than Liverpool, even considering the cost of Torres. Chelsea's spending is more comparable AFAIK. But hey, I just woke up from a nap an hour ago and I'm still in a daze.Actually, I don't know the exact figures, but the net spend of United and Liverpool in recent seasons is pretty similar IIRC. And when we first won the Premiership we didn't exactly buy it, yeah we spent money but we were outspent by several other clubs. In fact IIRC we didn't top the spending charts until the summer of 1998, though don't quote me on that.
Fantastic 'keeper. He had a stunner against Man U last season, didn't he? It looked like they were never going to score. As goalkeepers go, they tend to peak in old age.Yeah, Friedel, one of few modern keepers who isn't overrated IMO, despite actually being rated highly. Top keeper.
EDIT: I do agree with Smith that Citeh signing him would be odd though, too old really to justify it.
Yep, was ridiculous from Benitez. More than a bit arrogant too.Find it amusing that for so long Benitez has refused to offer £15m for Barry, but yet was recently quoted as saying £17m for Peter Crouch would not be unreasonable.
...pulling back Brent Sancho's dreadlocks to do so. No, I'll never forgive and never forget.3 were V Jamaica, 1 V T&T, 1 V Macedonia, can't think of anyone decent he's scored against actually, it is a good ratio nonetheless
Liverpool short of a striker with Crouch gone. And there are options for the wings.ITSTL that Benetiz is chasing Villa, and not Silva. Reckon 'pool are in more need of a quality winger than anything else.
Only, now he's come out said he's not chasing Villa. He wants Keane as a crouch replacement. Would prefer him to stay at Spurs myself.Liverpool short of a striker with Crouch gone. And there are options for the wings.
I don't think it's a strong chase for Keane. Just speculative at the moment.Only, now he's come out said he's not chasing Villa. He wants Keane as a crouch replacement. Would prefer him to stay at Spurs myself.
For him to score against someone that isn't Macedonia or Jamacia.Gawd, he's scored 14 in 28 games.

Is just another reason to hate Ronaldo. **** off are you lot slaves at 100k a week.Crouch isn't the worst English striker, miles better then Defoe, Johnson, Ashton, who are utterly awful. The problem is we just tend to hit aimless long balls when he's playing, so I'd rather he didn't. Not his fault though, really.
In other news I've been crying about the poor slaves that play in the premiership. Honestly makes you so angry that the flaming do-gooders are looking at third-world poverty and starvation, when these men have to endure their 100 grand a week hellish lives.
It's clearly political correctness gone mad
I've read that actually, i think he wants to join, but from memory I'm not sure if we were that interested. He did well enough last season, wouldn't mind having him as an extra striker. There's talk about Samaras becoming a full-time Celtic player.
