Yeah it's a terrible thing, but on the plus side it means Exeter are 30 points off the bottom already. Any chance of anyone else getting docked points
Would actually make sense, Luton starting with a clean sheet in the conference, would give them more to play for. I mean they may well need to pick up 80 points to stay up, and unlike with Dirty Leeds last year, no funds to strengthen . Cambridge finished second in the league and were play-off runners-up (thank Jehovah), so they'd be obvious candidates, to be promoted. Don't see it happening with the fixtures being out now though. Also I'm sure the Conference clubs (cliquey bastards that they are), would demand a deduction themselves. The conference is going to be lethal next year, as Pickup stated before, anyway. 12 clubs fighting over two places and Luton for a cash-strapped Cambridge would make it even worse, so there's not a chance the other teams in the tinpot league would allow it.
