No way are they strange buys. Tosic is a 21 year old left winger (something we've not had in 15 years) and is expected to get some prem games under his belt at the back end of the season. Given how long it took Vidic to settle in after a Jan move, its a fair idea to give him time to settle first.

Ljajic is 17 and on the verge of the Serbian national squad, potentially one of the best young midfielders in Europe, staying out there to get a bit more experience (not gonna find it easy breaking through at united yet with a strong centre mid)

Yeah heard about this, ridiculous, it's one thing to give a pitch a chance to thaw out or whatever, it's another thing to call the game off an hour before kick off, I'd be very pissed off if that was me.

Glad to see Saints get convincingly beaten by United today. Was a pleasure watching it in a pub full of Saints fans.

Sending-off was entirely deserved, horrible challenge.

What the **** ****. I can understand looking for players with proven PL records, but honestly, what is Parker going to add to the side? Santa Cruz I suppose, but that's a lot for a 29yo when Podolski is apparently available for around 12m....

agreed Parker is **** and he's worse than the midfielders we have currently.
