Weird seeing Wenger interested in Given & seems like he wants to continue to build the team with just talented young players. Clearly Arsenal fans wouldn't want that.

Building a team with talented youngsters is one thing, but its something you cant do at the top level with a keeper, need the experience. And were talking about the best keeper in the prem for the last 5 years or so....

True, but Almunia hasn't been doing badly. So why look for a keeper. He should be looking to strenghten his mid-field.

Manchester United sign Serbian pair Zoran Tosic and Adem Ljajic from Partizan Belgrade for a combined £17m. Ljajic will stay at Partizan for the rest of the season to get experience there. Haven't seen either of them play so I don't know much about them.

Not sure if Nemanja Vidic had any input or not.

BBC shouldn't be UK only i'm listening to it currently

Nah, doubt it'll be anything to do with Vidic, just a nice sweetner to help the lads settle in

No way are they strange buys. Tosic is a 21 year old left winger (something we've not had in 15 years) and is expected to get some prem games under his belt at the back end of the season. Given how long it took Vidic to settle in after a Jan move, its a fair idea to give him time to settle first.

Ljajic is 17 and on the verge of the Serbian national squad, potentially one of the best young midfielders in Europe, staying out there to get a bit more experience (not gonna find it easy breaking through at united yet with a strong centre mid)
